I have a gift card and I had been using the service which it was coming as scheduled. But the last 3 weeks I have been ordering and the order never comes the date to order keeps updating , no update of the menu but the order never arrives. The credit persists which means they do not use it. I e mailed them but no answer, there is no phone number to contact them. I wonder it the company is there or gone? Why my order is not provided? It the company is gone what about my credit left $397?Initial Complaint

Was gifted an amount with Chef To Table after my husband passed away, I placed an order back in November but it was never delivered, I tried many times and in many ways to follow up on the status of the order, to get a refund for that specific order, or to have them resend it. Only once did someone email me back saying they would look into it. Again I tried to get someone to help me out with no reply. I finally asked for all the money to be sent back to my aunt, who purchased this for me and my kids. I have had no answer for months. I just want this gifted item to be refunded as even if someone did get a hold of me I wouldnt use this service any more due to the horrible customer service.Initial Complaint

I used to order pre-made meals from these guys weekly, but then one week, after sending in my funds for the weeks delivery, they sent out an email saying they had to temporarily shutdown to revamp their system. The funds I sent were already with them, and no refund has been given. A month or so passed and they became Operational again. In that time, I moved out of ******* to ******** for work, and have been trying to get my funds back, but every time I reach out to their contact us on ******** messenger, I explain what Im after, and they just stop replying. So now Im out $60 and no one will reply to get that refunded. So, they took the money. Then shut down. And now that theyre back up, they wont give my money back. On the website, it shows I have a credit, but no one will respond to give me the refund of money for the items I did not get.Initial Complaint

I was looking online for a local ready-made meal service to order meals for a friend in *******, **. I came across Chef to Table's website, which claims to be local. Their homepage (**********************************) lists *******, *******, Cochrane, and *********** as their catchment area. Their "Our Story" section states the following: "All of our meals are cooked in a commercial kitchen in ******* and delivered to you the same day. Our head chef **** has worked in major restaurants in ******* for 13 years and as a private chef for 15 years." In their "Q&A" section, they state: "How long will the meals keep? All of our meals are cooked fresh on the day of your delivery. They will keep for 7 days after delivery. If your plans change, it is best to freeze the extra meals as soon as possible and keep them on hand for later."HOWEVER: once I placed the order, I started receiving confirmation emails from a company called LiveFit (email: *********************** And the meals were delivered via ****** having been shipped from ***********, overnight. They are therefore not prepared in *******, and not prepared on the day they are shipped. Moreover, there is no way to know how many days ahead of time the meals were prepared. This is not only completely dishonest marketing and business practice, it is also a food safety issue, and means that it is not safe to eat these meals. They certainly was not cooked on the day of delivery! It also raises questions about ethical business practices: who is preparing these meals, and are they being paid a fair wage? Why are there different companies engaged in this process? And with the LiveFit emails, the "About Us" links don't go anywhere. Lastly, under their "Reviews" section, there is no way to leave a negative review and warn other customers about this completely fraudulent business, which is also a potential health risk. This is a meal delivery service. I paid for a week of food and they ended up cancelling the order as they had staff shortages. I used the service while working but as my job was ending I no longer needed it so I asked for a refund. I was told that wasnt a problem and they would issue the refund. That was in June and I have yet to receive anything nor a response to the many emails Ive sent.Initial Complaint

At the beginning of June I ordered meals from this company and paid $204. The day before my meals were to arrive I received an email saying they weren't able to process orders and a credit would be applied to my account. It is now July 20 and the company is still not accepting orders. I have asked for a refund not a credit several times. The first time they replied that they would process my refund. Now they are no longer replying to me and I still have not received a refund
