TLDR: Don't let these fake ****** reviews fool you. Be prepared to overpay for renovation work which is non-compliant and incomplete. Stay clear away from Ramin aka Qamar (depends which name he gives you). I know these are fake reviews because he fan texted everyone on his phone last year to leave 5 star Google review. I was one of the many recipients. I hired Ramin in March of 2023 to build a secondary suite in my basement. He stated that this is his "specialization" and does this frequently. The job was supposed to be completed by August 31, 2023. He stated if it went over 30 days past this day he would give a 5% discount. The job was completed in the end of November 2023 and he did not give a discount. He stated that "the options" I chose took longer during building process so that's why it took an additional 2 months. That was one of his many lies. I took it upon myself during the building phase to speak to his vendors (including flooring company, appliances, kitchen cabinets, etc.) to ask them about the time it would take to get products. They all confirmed all the options chosen by me were available and in stock. Finally, he told me the delay was because he's so busy with other basements he doesn't have time. Ramin makes you think that he will get everything done exactly how you want it but then during building charges you for every step. He also states I took 1 month to pay him the final invoice. It took more than 1 month to get him to come back to the house and repair damage his team and himself has done. I wouldn't pay him until the job was done, but I made an extremely costly mistake and fell for a significant **** of his with the washer/dryer plumbing connection. Ramin talks about having builder’s quality as his sales pitch. I hope you review these items and contact me before ever hiring him. I will tell you what working with him is really like.

*****, the owner of the Ultra Modern ****, after giving me a written estimate to remove and replace a shared (with my neighbour) old fence, and to install two new gates, has abruptly and rudely decided not to do the job, over the phone, on August 10, 2022. He also insulted me by referring to ** ********** without any provocation, when I politely reminded him of what we had agreed upon on the removal of the old fence.

Ramin came right on time and quickly installed my new bathroom door without any mess left behind. I found him to be very polite and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him will definitely hire him again.
