I had a cable break on my garage door and called Abes Door Service. Their technician, ***** came out and replaced both cables, two rollers and lubricated the remaining rollers. He was very knowledgeable and efficient. I had forgotten to get an initial estimate from ***** and was a bit apprehensive as I waited for the invoice to arrive by email the next day. Needless to say, I was very pleased when the final bill came through. The repair cost was fair and reasonable. Thank you to both *****, who did a great job, and the person who took several of my phone calls at their office. I didnt get her name but she was very upbeat and helpful. Had ***** come and do a maintenance check on my 8 year old garage door. The door was creaking really bad when opening and closing. The technician replaced some brackets, adjusted the spring, and replaced the rubber piece at the bottom of the door. He was very nice and professional. Job well done. Abes Door Service replaced the springs and bottom insulation strip on my garage door. They were able to come within two hours of my calling them. They were on time and the technician was able to do the work within an hour. The insulation strip add-on was done at no additional labour cost and the cost of the stripping was very reasonable. The technician was very good and left the site as clean as it was before he arrived. As well, I new the cost of springs replacement ahead of time and there were no additional charges (except for the requested insulation strip). I would highly recommend them.
