Dear, Sir/Mam my name is **** ******* i have *** **** insurance and my wife ***** ******* has Alberta Blue Cross. on Jan 8th 2023.we went vision test shop called Eye Optix in horizon mall, ****** . we paid the $190 for both $95 each of us. When i claimed my bill *** **** refund me $76 only for my self and for my wife they informed -I have to go first Alberta blue cross then rest of money *** **** will pay so i submit my self and my wife claim to Alberta blue cross. they refused to help me & said we cant do anything about it. The blue cross customer service officer told me Alberta blue cross has nothing to do with Eye Optix any more so they declined my receipt and they saying before i go for shop like this (Eye Optix) this thing i should cross check with them. I explained them how do i know when *** **** is ready to pay but Alberta blue cross refusing it's too confusing to me . Now just because my wife has blue cross insurance, *** **** is not able to assist on her bill. I am really upset with the service - he never said what need to be done next, he kept saying we cant help.Business response

Eye Optix is a delisted provider as of January 7, 2022. As of the date we delist a provider, all claims for that provider's services and products are ineligible for coverage, payment, or reimbursement under your benefits plan.
To help maintain the viability of Alberta Blue Cross benefits plans and protect our customers, we have, for one or more reasons, identified each of the health care providers, clinics, facilities, and medical supply retailers on the delisted provider listing as a delisted provider.
We apologize for your frustration over this situation but as a delisted provider, all claims for products or services accessed from Eye Optix are unfortunately ineligible for coverage, payment, or reimbursement under your benefits plan.
Before visiting a provider, plan members are encouraged to view the listing of delisted providers on our member web site to verify whether that provider is identified as a delisted provider. We recommend that members review this listing regularly so that you don't unintentionally use a delisted provider and have your claims declined.
