      Horrible service. The owners wife) is rude un-Professional and dealing with this company was a nightmare. I asked for the owner call me!! but my requests keep getting ignored, how classy. My meal was cold, no heat Warners, guests had to cut their own roast beef as staff was un-attentive. They ignored an allergy notified about on more than one occasion I have yet to pay the balance owing as with cold food and no coffee and tea service provided they did remove this from my invoice but no communication on my event on why we didnt get coffee or tea it took an email at 9 pm two days after my event for an explanation! What a disgrace! I do not recommend this company they gurantee you love the food or you dont pay I paid majority of my bill and out of 10 my rating is . 2 out of 10.Save your money and dont hire these people. Cant take the heat stay out of the kitchen

      Hi *****, Thank you for the review regarding your wedding on Aug 13th, 2022. As per my email response to you sent to you on Aug 14th with no response back.... I am sorry that you feel that your menu was undercooked. I had gone to your head table a few times to check on your and I did a quality check to see how everything was and no mention of anything at any of those check ins. I do these checks to fix or rectify any situations as they arise. I can not help or correct/fix things I am not aware of. If it was a matter that the roast was a little rare for your liking, we would have gladly given you a portion that was more thoroughly cooked. Regarding the temperature, we do use chaffing dishes and stereos to keep everything hot while waiting. Your MC called for your head table to head to the buffet line, at which time we took out the roast beef from the hotbox and uncovered the chaffing dishes. When checking on ALL your other guests, everyone said it was fantastic and I even had guests asking for our business cards. I talked with your guest that had the bell pepper allergy. As I was very concerned for this guest, I had offered my assistance to her. I was willing to go to the drug store up the street and get her some Benadryl. She told me that it will calm down in 30 mins and that it regularly happens. I was so concerned that I came back to the office immediately after the catering and rechecked EVERY email that was converse between us and there were NO mention anywhere that I could find in any email. Every time that we talked on the phone I sent an email to you regarding what we talked about as a paper trail and I see NO mention in anything regarding our conversations either. We take allergies extremely serious. Once a couple gives us the information on allergies what ever they may be, we are EXTREMELY careful to not cross contaminate anything or even have that item in our kitchen when preparing the menu. You did not give us this information. When I asked you to send me a copy of the email you said you had telling me about the allergy, you hung up the phone on me. The coffee and tea, you are absolutely correct. The coffee and tea urns got left at the kitchen and was a complete oversight on our part. I apologized for this and removed it from the invoice.We facilitated two other weddings that night with the same menu and we got raving reviews. We've definitely learned some interesting lessons in dealing with a customer like yourself, thank you for that. Highwood Catering.
