I purchased new furnace May 27, 2022 which is supposed to have an airconditioning component attached. Back in 2022 there was a supply shortage of parts. I contacted the company in January 2023 and was told that parts were coming in then. I was told then that when the time comes they would come to ********** and do everyone at once. Contacted them by phone in September 2023, left message no one responded to my call. Sent another email May 1 of this year and was told that they would get to it this summer. did not give me a specific month or date when this might happen. Sent another email August 12 2024 (5 days ago) and am still waiting to hear back.Their lack of accountability and correspondance with me is horrible. I am not complaining about the furnace itself but i want to have the airconditioning.Also i am being financed for this through a company callled Financeit in ******* and they paid BC Standard Home Services for what they are now collecting money from me on a monthly basis.Business response

Bc standard home services sold me a furnace and air conditioner with the promise that I could apply for rebates and to date have not supplied paperwork or returned calls. The actual payments for the equipment and services commenced before delivery or installation as well. I would like a credit to the account or the required paperwork to finish the application process if it's even still an option. If I have missed cut off for rebate I request a credit please. BC Standard Home Services charged me $840. for electrical work involved in installation of a central air conditioning unit but when the electrical contractor eventually came (three weeks later), I had to pay that as well, (+ $1295.37) basically paying twice for the same work. When BC Standard Home Services was finally reached by phone (very elusive, not answering or returning voicemail messages) and told about this situation, he asked for copies to be sent him via text which were sent by me. I also asked to be sent the paperwork he promised (ie. proof of purchase of the high efficiency furnace purchased at the same time) and other items necessary for rebate application but as of this date have not received a reply of any kind. As settlement, I only hope to be refunded the initial fee of $840. which I paid for electrical work, and to receive proof of purchase of the high efficiency furnace as well as the air conditioning unit in the form of receipts.Initial Complaint

April 7 Cant register warranty.,not a valid code Air conditioner doesnt turn off,not as cold as it should be Just installed *** says he will charge me again,paid two hundred for service call my **** Was bad from beginning , I get no rebates,way. BC Standard Home Services Promised us a new touch thermostat and a $2,000 rebate after we got a new furnace installed in our trailer on April 4th, 2022. My daughter attempted to phone them to fix the problem regarding them coming to our home to install the promised touchscreen thermostat and give us our rebate as promised. They never got back to consolidate a time to drop by and exchange the thermostat that they left here at my house (still in the box) which was a Honeywell Home Non-Programmable thermostat. (***** **********) I'm disappointed because ** Standard told us we would be getting a Programmable Thermostat installed in our home, and it never happened. Also not impressed by the fact they said that we would receive the rebate within 2 months or so after installation which still hasn't happened. We also need information from them in order to get ****** ** to help us further and get our rebate which we only have until April 4th of 2023 to do so.
