I have been attending this hair salon in ********* for almost a year. Within this last year, we had been blending in my darker roots to avoid bleaching to give it a break. When I went in for my appointment at 9:30am, I told them I wanted to go back to full blonde (as summer is coming) with just a very little shadow root on the top only (not the sides). I provided a picture and on we went. I got bleached twice, worked on by multiple people including the owner and in there for 6 hours. My hair stylist even told me he was scared to touch my hair midway through my appointment. As they were blow drying my hair, I noticed some orange steaks near the top of my head. It looked minor and I asked if purple shampoo would fix it and he recommended to try it. I paid $498.00 with tip and walked out to my car to put my hair in a ponytail where I noticed GREY. I immediately went back in and showed them and asked them to fix it. The owner who did that blamed it on me saying its because I wanted it lightWhen I got home, I had a friend look at my hair and it was covered in orange steaks and patches. It was terrible! It was damaged and breaking. This was on a Saturday. The hair salon was closed Sunday and Monday. I work Monday - Friday and had plans for Valentines Day weekend. I did not have time to come in for at least another 2 weeks to get this fixed by them. I found a new hairdresser last minute and provided pictures of what I was dealing with. The hairdresser fixed it up completely and gave me a wonderful haircut with layers to help blend in from the breakage that was happening. I emailed the owner of the hair salon with photos of the damage that was done and the orange steaks asking for a refund. She refused and will not take accountability for it claiming they did not do it and it did not happen at her salon. I had let them know I will be leaving a review, In which I did. They have threatened to *** me over business defamation unless I remove the review.Business response

we are adamant that the damage this lady has claim was caused due to a service provided at ********* is false, we have video and pictures of her hair during and after the service showing her hair in great condition none of the damage she shows in later pictures, we can only assume she tried to lighten her hair on her own then visited a salon to repair the damage she caused making false accusation against Styles Sergii and ********* ,
we have decided to peruse legal action for defamation she has left us no choice.

I am rejecting this response because:I have the photos that show the date/time/location they were taken. I have a paper trail of exactly where I was immediately after my appointment to when the photos were taken. I have the call history of when I phoned a new hairdresser and texted photos of my hair to the new hair dresser before the new salon fixed it (the same day within a couple hours of leaving Ashton). I did not have time to go lighten my own hair as they state and can prove that with the time of the photos and the documentation of where I was. I am more than happy to go through with legal action and have already pursued on my end for my refund of almost $500.00

we are perusing legal action for Defamation against *******************,
papers will be served on her this week or early next week she will have her chance to air her false claims in front of a judge.

I am rejecting this response because: I know how I left with my hair and I did not see the orange colour left underneath. I hope you have the photos to prove the underneath hair like you say. The top of the hair wasnt near as bad, with just a little orange. Please upload the before/after photos here that you took

**************** claimed that she had her hair damaged by the service she received at the salon, she claimed that the damage was so severe she had hair falling out in clumps, she showed pictures of her sitting in a salon with the damaged hair on her lap, in serval of our responses to ***** we explained in great detail why her claim was not possible with the treatments she received during her service, if it was a color correction she required or she was unhappy with the color or any other aspect of her service, we would have been more than willing to look at the complaint and if necessary correct the problem, she claimed that she could not wait till the Tuesday after her service on Saturday the 10th February due to the damage she claimed was caused by her service at *********, (her hair falling out), ******************* did not at any point contact us to allow us to assess her complaint, it seem she is now claiming it was the color she was unhappy with?

I am rejecting this response because: I asked to be blonde. Not have orange patches in my hair. I loved the colour of the icy blonde which looked fine when I left. I did not see how bad it was till I got home and my friend took the photos of the back and underneath to show me. I was not shown this at your salon or were told about how bad it was, otherwise I would have booked a appointment to come back to have it fixed for free and not paid someone else to fix it. I am unhappy with your dishonesty about the service and should have turned me down if you could not provide the results from the picture I showed at the *********** unhappy that I had 4 different people work on my hair. I am unhappy that I paid $498.00 to have my hair bleached twice, washed 4 times and told by the hairdresser he was scared to touch my hair already half through the service. Please just move along with your court order and lets get this dealt with professionally by the judge. Thats what reviews are for whether they are good or bad, and I am allowed to voice my personal opinion and experience.
