  Oct. 30 2022 I purchased what I thought was 2 wings for $34.99 and there was only 1 I went to party city to return it for a refund with the packaging and receipt. I talked to the manager and she said I couldn't get a refund. I only had it for 1 day and it wasn't worn. I don't think this is fair way to do business. Thankyou ***** ******

  Hi there,

  This customer purchased the "Dark Side Shoulder Wing" from us on the day before Halloween.  On the packaging it indicates it is one piece (1 pc) and includes a picture of a model on the front wearing the wing on one shoulder.

  When the customer came in for a refund the item was out of the packaging, and she was informed at the time of purchase that all halloween items are final sale.  Furthermore, there are bright orange signs throughout the store, on the front doors and at all the cash registers that state "All Halloween products are now final sale". Additionally, on the bottom of the customer's receipt it states, "seasonal items may be returned up to 7 days prior to the holiday".  I have pictures available of the packaging, signs and note at the bottom of the receipt, but this site will not let me attach them due to their size.  However, I am happy to provide them to you at your request.  Unfortunately, since this item was attempted to be returned on the day of the Holiday it is ineligible for a refund and we will not be issuing one at this time.

  I am rejecting this response because: the package nowhere says this is a Halloween product. After all the store is called party city. The product could used for a masquerade party anytime of the year. I thought I was paying $35.00 for a pair.

  The package does not say it is a halloween product, however it was merchandised directly under one sign that says "Angels and Devils" and additionally under another halloween sign indicating it is final sale.  The entire aisle had multiple signs throughout it indicating all the items in that section were all halloween, and final sale. In addition, there were signs on the front doors, and at all the cash registers.
  
  As I mentioned previously, the item is called the "Dark Side Shoulder Wing" (singular), says it is one piece (1 pc), and has a picture of a model wearing it on one shoulder.  
  
  For these reasons we will not be refunding the item.
