I bought a vehicle that had an issue. Dealer took back for repair, but ending up offering to move to a new vehicle, gave me the facts and offer best dollar to value proposition. no dollar lost. Even Offered incentive on top of it for good first impression.This endup being two car deal, a family friend bought another car from Westminster Toyota as well.A flash ship dealer gesture and professional attitude through and through. We ordered a *** * *** from Westminster Toyota in May; however, to date, we have not received the vehicle, which can be understood due to specific reasons. On June 29th, 2022, while checking online for availability, I came across a *** * *** Premium, which had been a cancellation. Therefore, I spoke to the salesperson in charge of my order. He said that the vehicle was available and the original customer for this vehicle had a protection package and asked whether it was fine for me to pay an extra cost. First, I disagreed, but later, when he said that the protection package cost was already included in the sale price as per the post on Facebook, I agreed and asked if I could come and purchase the vehicle. Suddenly he messaged me and said that his manager informed him that it was already sold. Even though he said that I kept checking on Facebook for similar vehicles and came across the same vehicle posted by another salesperson of the same location a few minutes back, mentioning that it was available. Then I contacted this salesperson who had posted on Facebook a few minutes back named GARRY A****, and he confirmed that the vehicle was available. Then I contacted my salesperson and asked him if the car was available or not because GARRY confirmed that it was available. Then he checked with GARRY and took his word since GARRY had confirmed with his manager. So, they asked us to come to the Westminster Toyota, and on our way, I received a message from my salesperson mentioning that they could not sell the vehicle and that they needed to hold this until tomorrow. However, we went and waited for some time for GARRY and our salesperson to attend to our matter. GARRY spoke to us first, blamed us, and acted like it was not his fault for misleading us and wasting our time and money. Suppose anyone is looking to buy a vehicle from Westminster Toyota, refrain from the salesperson GARRY A**** as clearly, he lacks professionalism and customer service skills.Review from J. G.

Absolutely disgusting experience. I literally cried over there when I found out their ****. The worst experience in my life. My husband do car share so we very eager to buy hybrid because of the soaring gas prices. They offered us to do trade in for our **** ** ****** *******. Unfortunately we had to deal with Mr.. I don’t know if it would have been someone else our experience could have been different. He was full of ****. From the very beginning I was not able to build trust with him. I was so disappointed when he told us the trade in value for our car. He said this car is not fit for road we have to give it to the wholesale means who can use the parts out of this car. Being an innocent customer we thought there might be something wrong with our car that we don’t know. trade in allowance is 6683$ for the same car they have listed for 17998$ after we traded in on Thursday Feb 17th 2022. Mr. convinced us with his **** that our car doesn’t have market value. I mentioned that I will go to consumer court and he said I have bill of sale signed by you. Two major consumer rights were ignored by this person ‘right to be informed and right for consumer education’ We went back to get answer for the ****. Mr. was off and we were told that it is listed but they are waiting on parts. If wholesale will give them less price they have to sell it with the loss. ********** ******* ********* **** ****.I said we were told that this is definitely going to wholesale who can sell parts because our car was not fit for road. On website all the features of our car is explained in detail as if it is all ready to sell. Mr. called us after an hour on our way home and mentioned that ***** ********** *** ******** **** *** ******* ** ***** *** ******** *** ** *** I bought this car with about 72k mileage and traded in with about 96k on it. Never been to mechanic other than oil change. I need satisfactory answers for the **** that have been told.Westminster Toyota Response

I am not satisfied with the **** business you people do there. This is not a solution. We have already got inspection done on new vehicle. We added it on ride share. My husband has to sit home while rideshare was reviewing new vehicle documents. And moreover how can I trust that you haven’t ****** with our trade in vehicle. What I was asking just the fair trade in price *** **** ** **** *** ******** ******* *** ****** **** **** ******** *********. Even I tried calling after this review to Westminster Toyota I been transferred 5 times and stayed on hold no one responded. I am absolutely horrified with their business practices and how they tried to **** ********* of my ** ***** *** father. We originally booked a **** ****** *** in July 2021 and we were told that it can take months due to short supply and we agreed to wait and made a deposit. At this time we had clarified that we are not looking to trade in and may or may not need financing either. We followed up a couple of times and In Jan 2022 we are told that our vehicle is showing in production and may arrive in next couple of months. Then we received a call in Jan 2nd week letting us know that they have a vehicle now but in a different color if we are interested and we agreed to go ahead with it. They asked about financing and I asked them to give me details on financing terms for which they sent me an application to complete. We chose not to go with financing and do a cash purchase instead. Then came the pressure to trade in our old 2010 **** which we declined but they stated pressuring my father to either trade in or take his deposit back. So we inquired about trade in and they offered $6500, the current going price for this vehicle is $12000. Then they started ***** to my father how this vehicle needs new tires and new shocks. Tires are less than 6 months old from ****** and haven't even gone through 1st rotation, shocks were changed from a ****** dealership just over a year ago. So we declined to trade. At this point someone they started ********* us for trading in our car or take our deposit back. My father got ******* into taking his deposit back and now he lost his spot in the queue. This is by far the worst experience we've ever had with a car dealership. I am still in disbelief that these salesmen can go down to this level and **** ********* of older folks just to **** ******** ****** **********. Such ******** human beings.Westminster Toyota Response
