Back in Summer 2022 I ‘won’ a years lease or financing of a car through this company. They never explained this to an appropriate level to someone who doesn’t understand all this process. The year 'won' was still included in the sale (** **** **** ***** *** **** ****** *** ****) and they then gave me a lump sum to pay for that first year. What they failed to tell me was that the tax and fees was still applicable so it was not really ‘free’ and was racking up a crazy interest rate which means after the first year of paying $8k I have only currently paid of $3k due to that interest and so their promise of a years free is absolute garbage and a ***. I had a great credit score before signing this and so should have qualified for a lower interest rate which a previous employee of theirs has since told me I could have gotten. Neglected to let me know or make it clear what the interest rate was, I am therefore going to end up paying 3x what this car is worth due to that. Figure to make clear my options after this first ‘free’ year. I expressed my concern at the beginning on the cost of this vehicle however due to this ‘free’ year they reassured me that after this year I could trade in the vehicle for a cheaper option but this is not true. I feel like I was *******, **** to and since been neglected by the dealership with any issues that arose. Their ‘sales’ tactic was to ******** me into signing without making all of the above clear. I also have not got a copy of anything that I signed and after months of trying to track them down they will not reply to me or provide me with any contract that I signed. I am being ignored by the dealership and I can’t get hold of anyone there.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

I am reopening the case as the dealership ensured me he would help fix the issues and we could figure this out between us however i have given him 4 months to figure something out and all I keep getting is 'give me a few day's and we are no further along with anything.
I have suggested a variety of outcomes for us so I can get out of this but nothing has come of it. The dealership also doesn't seem to understand my view on a free year not being free if I have to pay $5000 in interest for that year which was not disclosed to me.

      Sincerely,

Let me start here, I will send you all my conversations with ***********************. i NEVER ignored her and Ive been the point of contact after she dealt with my previous staff member. For starters **** won the FIRST YEAR FREE. Yes we gave her all her first year payments which included taxes. EVERY finance includes taxes in the payments so i cant understand what she means. We sold her the vehicle at a loss on my books. We will send that along with all conversations with ****. The Flyer claimed " on approved credit" . We have proof again the only bank that accepted **** at the time. We do not control the rates as its driven by her credit. After the first year. **** wanted to get out of the car but here is the issue. **** changed jobs to a less paying job, her credit dropped and the car lost value { as every car does}. I have tried everywhere to get her re approved but the banks keep rejecting her from no fault of ours. I have stayed in touch with **** and had meetings trying to help. What **** also failed to mention, she went to see another dealer before coming back to see me in person. Weve had extensive conversations with ***** in person. on text and over the phone where we explained several times that her credit has changed. Its extremely unfair as we have done nothing but help ****. Ones credit, value of vehicles or changing jobs shouldnt be blamed on the dealer. Please let me know where we send all supporting documents as well.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because I do not believe that anything has been put forward as an option to resolve this and my frustration and complaint on being mis sold what was promised by the employee at the time of sale

      Sincerely,

I'm not sure what you are asking of me but i will do my best to respond. Miles End has no control over your credit or income. We have to agree on that. Your complaint wasn't within the first year when it was free. Your options are, we sell the car and you pay off the loss to the bank. We refinance the current loan of what you owe with another bank. there are no guarantees as its all credit dependant. We keep trying to find a bank that will accept you on a new unit and prepared to bury the negative equity you are carrying. You also didn't tell BBB you want a cheaper payment because your income reduced. I'm not sure how we can get a new loan on a car with negative equity and get cheaper payments? You have to be realistic that your payments may increase. There were 6 other winners and none of them have complained to the BBB for the free one year. We offered you all these options previously and we are still here to help you as best as we can. Thank you.

      Complaint: ********

What I am trying to get you to see is that I was miss sold and provided incorrect information at the time of sale by one of your employees.

Adam assured me after the first year I would be able to trade it in for a cheaper car no problem because the high payments were a very big concern for myself and Adam reassured me that the first year is free and so it doesn't matter because once I start paying we can trade for a cheaper car with cheaper payments.

With the 'free' year what I'm trying to get cross to you is for you to see how it is not exactly as was advertised. You paid me for the flat rate fee of a years price of the car ($8k) but failed to inform me that the interest rate would also be addition for that year and so in reality you haven't paid the 'full' cost for that year as I had to pay $5k in interest for that free year. So the total cost for that year to make it free would have been the two costs combined.

Again, I'm not saying this was your fault as you weren't the one that sold this to me however it was one of your employees that has gotten me into this mess by failing to provide sufficient information on what I was actually getting into. He **** ********* of my lack of knowledge and unfortunately that comes back on Miles end motors.

As for my income drop, this has been a recent concern at the end of last year however this does not change all of what I have said above

      Sincerely,
