As per my last review of this company, I was rather displeased with the initial handling of my case, however Liam from Global assured me that he would resolve this issue. I had believed there was no light at the end of the tunnel for this matter, but with this second con- sideration taking effect now because of Liam's own efforts to reach out, I can say this is quality company. I am grateful that Global does take a further look into their customers best interests and pleased to see the due diligence provided. Thanks again Liam I appreciate the call and how you handled this matter.

This company is * ****, and unsupportive. I bought a trip and had coverage on it. I got stranded in another country for two days. Didnt even get to do the trip. They just ditched me and said too bad. Its been a lot to pick up the pieces. Save your money and save yourself, they suck! Youve been warned.Global Work & Travel Response

Hi ********, It is saddening to see that you have decided to leave this review. Your trip was organized as per your request, in line with our usual high standard of service, and ready for you to arrive. However, the airfare you organized independently resulted in a delay in Heathrow Airport, during this time you spoke with our 24/7 Global Emergency Team and they were able to provide you with advice. They confirmed that you have consumer rights so to be sure to speak to the airline to ensure you receive the maximum compensation, and that at minimum they should book you a new flight, and depending on the delay, provide overnight accommodation and cash compensation. The emergency team member advised you that they would be able to update your arrival date with our ground team so your Study Italy trip would reflect accordingly. You told the emergency team member that your trip was ‘already too much for you to handle’ and that you were going to return home. While this was your prerogative, it is not a reflection of our services or trips. You were upset that you couldn’t receive a full refund of your trip, despite the fact you already received an almost 50% discount on the trip at purchase, and that you could have attended, but you chose not to due to a delay with your flight at Heathrow airport. Your reasoning was that as you had not physically arrived in country, you should receive a full refund. However, as you were advised in turn, the reservations for your trip including accommodation, transfers, teachers, etc, were all made many months in advance, and we couldn’t replace you with a different customer as you decided to cancel the day before the trip started. You finished the conversation with our emergency team member that was only trying to assist you with “well that has told me everything I need to know, I’ll gladly bash your company publicly when I get home and you can ** **** **”. Your review implies that as part of our trip and services you were stranded in another country for two days. The reality is that you decided to purchase your airfares, not through our travel agents as was recommended, but online, which was the cause of the delay you encountered. You’ve also stated that we ‘just ditched you’, whereas your trip was prepared and your transfer was waiting for you at the airport, but as your flight was delayed in Heathrow, 1 flight away from arriving at the trip, you decided to go home instead of attending your trip. This was very unfortunate for everyone, including the other members of the trip who were expecting one more person, however, despite our emergency team member trying to encourage you to continue with your trip and not turn back, you made the decision to not even arrive at the destination. It is very disheartening to see that you have now chosen to also leave this negative review despite knowing it was entirely your choice not to arrive into Italy, and are trying to imply there was an issue with our services.Review from Ryan W

Hi ****,
Thank you for your feedback.
It is unfortunate to hear that you were not satisfied with your trip.
Due to the nature of your concerns, we have reviewed your trip booking to verify what was provided. We note that you have either received all your trip service inclusions, or they were available for you to use at the appropriate time.
Regarding your role at The Ville, it appears that there was some concern regarding your performance in relation to what was stated on your resume and you were let go due to under performance. While we are able to provide you with job opportunities, you are still require to secure and sustain your own work abroad, as you acknowledged when you registered for your trip. Prior to this role that you accepted you also received another guaranteed job opportunity that included full time hours and staff accommodation in a great resort, which you turned down.
On October 17th you reached out to your arrival coordinator to ask about **** mining or further job opportunities. Your arrival coordinator advised you that she could provide you with further job opportunities, but she would require an updated resume from you in order to do so.
On November 12th you reached out again to your coordinator to enquire about further job opportunities, however, your coordinator had still not received an updated resume, so they requested it from you again. On November 18th you advised your coordinator that you had secured a job with accommodation in Aubury and would be relocating there on December 1st.
Your Working Holiday Australia trip included a number of different trip service inclusions, which you have received. While we can provide job opportunities, it is still your responsibility to secure and sustain the job. Prior to your arrival into Australia you received two job opportunities, one that you accepted and turned into a job offer. Your coordinator also spent a great deal of time assisting you in organising transportation throughout Australia to get to your different employers and was in contact with you throughout your trip.
Based on our review we have verified that you have received all your trip service inclusions as stated to you prior to your trip registration, and as per our standard trip offerings. As such you were not eligible to receive a refund of your trip due to the costs incurred in providing you with each of your trip service inclusions. You did however have full access to any support that you would have liked from your arrival coordinator, which you took advantage of, but there were certain requirements that you are required to fulfil in order for your arrival coordinator to assist you further, such as providing necessary and requested information which you did not. While we are disheartened by the news that you have returned home after so many years in Australia it is a requirement to provide up to date documentation in order for new job opportunities to be sourced.
