We signed a contract on June 15,2022. We paid $25,000 as a deposit for kitchen and bathroom cabinets and countertops. They committed to provide this. They provide substandard product which they agreed was bad and took it away. This was not done. Now they are suing us for the remainder. We demanded all of our money back as it was apparent that they could not provide the product that they promised. They are now ignoring us. The account is under ******.Initial Complaint

Breach of contract on many occasions and now, no longer returning my calls or emails.I signed my kitchen cabinet contract with CK Design in August 2021. And paid the 50% deposit on 3rd August 2021. They promised installation on October 15th 2021, that day came and went with zero contact from them. They finally contacted me a day later, and promised a new date of November 15th 2021. That date came and went too. Eventually the Boxes and some doors/ panels were delivered on December 1st 2021. There were still missing doors, damages to dove tail drawers.Cut to February 2022, the peninsula drawers were not properly measured to take into account the cooking range. So the entire peninsula had to be reinstalled to the correct width and depth. Many pieces of fillers were used and it looks like an amateur botched job. A wider toe kick was promised to be ordered and I still waiting for it. Note that reinstallation finally happened on June 2nd, 2022 - after several months of chasing.MDF doors were installed when I had clearly specified and paid for Solid Maple wood doors. This is clearly listed in the quote/ contract I have with CK Design. I formally met and informed the owners on June 8th, 2022 and they confirmed back in writing on June 14th, 2022 that they will have the correct solid maple wood doors replaced for me. Another email on 7th July 2022 confirming the replacement doors will arrive "end of Summer". Emails in October 2022 and still nothing was forthcoming. Finally I went to meet with the owner at the store on January 17th, 2023 and I was promised the doors would be ready in February and to check back again with them. February 27th 2023: *********** coverage of "wave of complaints" against CK Design. And since then, the store is locked up. No one is there. No one is returning my calls nor emails.Initial Complaint

Oct 22 /2022 We purchased a kitchen from this company it was certainly not the kitchen we had been shown & purchased it was a disaster. ***************************************************************************** They were supposed to have our kitchen boxes installed early December and completed by the first week of January and that did not happen. On Vernon rant and rave on ******** my whole story is there and so Many others as well. It was unsafe they only installed part of it nothing but problems and issues, etc.. apparently there was a lot more people involved in this kitchen company nightmare it’s been on ****** News. I think it’s going to be on the news again. as of. March 7 we have boxes that are in very poor shape unsafe installed in our house no doors, no drawers etc. we had a professional company come and assess what was in our house and they’ve advised us to stop and do not continue moving forward. We did ask the kitchen company for our money back on several occasions and they declined. Their contract is wide open no start date no finish date a lot of other people other than myself have been waiting well over a year and they’re still not finished. They have closed down their website for ****** reviews but the reviews are still there. The few reviews that are good reviews were old reviews from the prior owner. They took over the business sometime in 2019.
