We booked a sleigh ride for December. 19th, 2021 as part of a gift for our family. Multiple members of the family had to drive 3+ hours and book hotel rooms for the event. Two hours before the scheduled ride, the company called and canceled with no explanation as to why. After many failed attempts at contacting the company, they got back to us and suggested rebooking. This was not possible for us as it took a lot of planning to get everybody into St.Johns on the original date and one family member was no longer healthy enough to travel. Plus we no longer trusted that the company wouldn't cancel on us again. We then tried multiple times again to contact the company for a refund, nobody responded. Finally, after making a post on social media, somebody from the company contacted us and said they could not refund (despite it being them who cancelled). After arguing for days (mostly getting no response from the company), we agreed to a credit that could be used "in store". We agreed as we thought we could use it at Lester's Farmers Market. Recently we tried using the credit at Lester's Farmers Market but was told it was only useable at the Chalet. The Chalet offers nothing to us that we could spend that amount of money on. Because of this, we are looking for a full refund. Again, nobody from the company is responding to us.Initial Complaint

A booking was made with this company for a horse drawn carriage ride to occur on December 23, 2021. The amount charged by the company was $287.00, which was paid in full. The company sent a confirmation email advising that payment was received. Subsequent to our booking, we were contacted by this company and advised that the carriage ride was canceled due to Covid concerns. Since this carriage ride was canceled by the company, we requested that our money be refunded to us. Numerous attempts to contact the company by phone and email have proven unsuccessful. The company is still holding on to our money for services they did not provide. Can you please assist us with this?Customer response
