We had Duramax provide services in July 2020 to apply polyaspartic floor coating (aka epoxy) to our garage; rear deck and staircases at our home in Belle River. Upon completion the job appeared to meet expectations. Less than two years later the rear deck and staircases have had literal chunks lifting off the surface. The garage began to turn a yellow--specifically the outside edges that are exposed to the elements--this area was suppose to have a UV-protectant applied. The job included a 10 year warranty, I contacted Duramax in May 2022 to inspect. The owner's son (Zack) visited and said the rear deck and staircases would need to be redone completely. The garage was to be a simple fix. Initially the response for the issue was 'how cold was it when this was installed?' I responded that it was July and was so hot one could fry an egg on my deck that week as my backyard faces south. I was then told that the employee Duramax had sent to complete the job had since been fired due to a record of sub-standard work. Satisfied with the response (complete replacement), we shook hands and Zack said someone from the office would contact me to make an appointment. I waited about two weeks and called myself. The person on the phone acted surprised by my call. I was then told it would likely be July before they would be able to come out for the work and I would be called since Duramax had other jobs local to my address. July came and went. Aug 2022 via phone and email--recounting past conversations and empty promises. Both in an email and on the phone I was told by Janelle that Duramax was experiencing supply issues from their vendors and that was the cause of the delays and that my name was on a list of jobs to get done and I'd be contacted. Sept. Another email from me and the same rhetoric back from Duramax. Oct. Too cold to do the replacement work. My deck looks horrible and still no communication. I WANT MY $$$$ back!!!

In June of 2017, Duramax Epoxy provided us with services of epoxy on our front step. ***** was our contact for this service. The front porch had a crack in the cement and he informed us that by us doing epoxy that the crack would not show upon completion. His quote and services were $1400.00 plus HST for a total of $1582.00 and it came with a 7-year warranty. Approximately a year ago, I tried calling him a couple of times with no return call to me. Then, he was advertising on ******** where I sent him a message telling him that the topcoat was not evenly applied and looked very poorly because of this and I would like him to come and look at it. At the same time, I wanted him to see how the cracks in the porch were still showing up because I think they didn't put enough epoxy on the crack. He messaged me back and said that this was an "aesthetic" issue and the warranty didn't cover this. Then I told him that this was poor service for a poor job ***************************************************************** ***
