My 11 year old went in a bought a product for $9.99 and was charged $2.00 tax???? I went back into the store the next day to require my refund of the over priced taxes charged. They gave me a number for Head Office * * * ******* he said it was probably a glitch in the computer. When i told him i was going to check the rest of her receipts he said he’d call me back and never did.Review from Jonathan N

The same day delivery is next day delivery. They ask you to pay 4.99 for delivery as long as you order before 4 pm. Guess what I ordered at 1 pm. It didn’t come. I waisted my full afternoon staying at home so someone can receive the package. It came the next day. I got an email saying same day delivery i waited till evening no one came. Did i receive an email informing me that I won’t be expecting anything that day? No. All stores have the stock. So they can’t tell me they had to source the item out somewhere else. Don’t try to entice people about your same day delivery if you cannot commit to it.Showcase Home of the Hottest Trends Response

** ***** *** **** ** *** ** **** ***** **** ******* ******** Literally the worst company I have ever dealt with they were selling ******* Halloween card bundles that contained 40 individual packs of cards for $6 which was a deal because you could purchase from ******* for $20. Once everyone ordered they shipped out only individual packs and changed the listing without telling anyone. So people paid $6 for a pack of cards worth .50¢ when confronted they said it wasn't their fault. ******* ******* **** ** ***** **** **** ***** **** **** **** ******Review from Michele L

The delivery was very fast but they did not call me nor press the door code and left the package outside the apartment building.
The product does not fit so I asked for a refund and got this reply instead:

However, this item is a final sale once opened unless there is a manufacturing defect stopping this item from operating correctly. If there is no manufacturing defect, it would be a final sale item once it had been opened. I apologize for the inconvenience.
There was not an apology for the way the package was delivered. This is the only answer they gave which is totally ludicrous.
I will never purchase anything from them again *************************************************************

Same day delivery orders are fulfilled by your nearest Showcase store. As these are delivered by ******** drivers, these are not packaged in parcels/boxes - these are sent out in shopping bags. The delivery drivers do handle the package with care. The return policy does follow the in-store policy as indicated on our website: https://ca.shopatshowcase.com/pages/returns
Any same day delivery order return policy is the same as the in-store return policy.
Return Policy O - falls under most products: If unopened, 30 day refund back to original method of payment. If opened, 30 day return onto a store credit.
Return Policy U - falls under hygienic, consumables, surprise items: If unopened, 30 day refund back to original method of payment. If opened, it's final sale.
Return Policy F - falls under food, vitamins, and supplements: Final sale.
Showcase also covers the first 30 days for any manufacturer defects, if there is a defect we will gladly exchange the item for you. Showcase also offers an ESP (Extended Service Plan) which covers the product for after the 30 days, it covers the unit for a 1 time replacement over a 3 year period.
With your purchased unit, it fell under return policy U. The product falls under hygienic. As it was opened, it is final sale as per policy.

Worst customer service ever! I received a broken heating pad by mail and it didn't heat up. I took it to a Showcase location to exchange it or get a refund. They plugged it in and it turned on. Because it turned on (even though it did not get warm) I was told it worked fine and therefore I was not entitled to a replacement or refund. I was told to email customer service to see if they'd "allow" me to return it. They did grant me the ability to return the item but informed me I was responsible for the cost of shipping back the broken item. At 6 pounds the shipping is ridiculous but what other option do I have when the store doesn't back their product and won't help. ****************************************************. Looking into the details of your purchase, we see that this was purchased sometime in October. Our stores are not set up to handle online orders. Therefore, they would not have been able to assist in an exchange/credit as they are not set up to do this in-store. As you contacted our store past the thirty day time-frame return/manufacturer warranty policy, our team stated that they would be happy to assist you in a replacement for the Dream Away 6lb Weighted Electric Extra-Large Heating Pad | 21"x32" that you are referring to. However, due to the timeframe, you are responsible for covering the cost of return shipping back to the warehouse as you contacted us past the 30 day mark.

Hello, thank you for you reply. I was at the store before the 30 day time had expired. I was unaware that Showcase didn't back their online products in store and were unwilling to accommodate a regular customer. The item is broken through no fault of mine and is in its original box. We are in a Covid pandemic which means things take a bit longer to get done. As a customer I understand this but as a vendor you don't seem to. I was days (not weeks or months) late and have gone out of my way to return this item. I tried the customer care phone number and got referred to the website. I called the number at 1Wilkinson Rd in Brampton to find the hours so I could have the item dropped off to avoid the $17 shipping charge but the recording referred me to the website and provided no hours of operation. I am asking for a little understanding and requesting a shipping label or the hours of operation at the mailing address in Brampton so I can deliver the item in person.
