      Gamestop ******* ** ******* marketing practices. They advertise a Trade 3 get one free with ******** ****** games. This offer is plastered everywhere. I brought three games in to trade and was told they have attached a value of under $10 for each. I was also told I can get a New Release game as long as it's not older than two weeks old. Absolutely nothing made sense *** ** *** *** * left feeling duped. I was told to "read the fine print". **** ** * ****** *** ** ********  The manager called me and offered excuses and "read the fine print." **** *** ** ******* **** ** *** **** *** ******** **** *****

      * ******** *** *** ********** ** ******* **** ** ************ ************* ********** ** your Scarborough Ontario  EB Games store ** *** ******* ***  This is about an interaction with an employee or manager at the at the EB Games store. I gave corporate a chance to solve this and there was no follow up the first 2 times.  I ultimately phoned and they did not provide anything other than telling me they received the complaint. *** ********** **** **** ***** ** ******** **** **** **** ***** *****   It first started when I phoned the store to tell them that they gave me the wrong game. They said they would let me keep it and then refund me if I came in to the store. I travel out of my way to the store and the store employee doesn't acknowledge me entering. When making the return with another more helpful employee, the first employee at the counter then first refuses to listen to my comments that this is the incorrect game. *** ******** **** ** ******* ***** **** *** **** *** tells me that he will do a refund but refuses to keep the promise I received over the phone to keep the game and refund. When making the refund ** ** ***** ********* ************* *** ****** **** *** ******** *** *** **** * *** ***** ***** **** ***** **** ** ************ ****** **** ** **** ***** ***** ** **** **** *** ****** ************ In the end he dumps the change on the table. **** ** ********* ************** ********** I expected better from this franchise so I reported the incident to EB Corporate *** **** **** **** ***** *** * ******** ******* ** ************ * ******* **** ***** *********** *** *** ****** *****  Customers shouldn't be treated this way. **** ************** I've bought ********* ** ******* ** product from your company for years and *** ** *** ** *** ******* **** *** *** the final response of nothing.       ************************************************ we went in to purchase a ***. they had it in stock as a bundle with 2 AAA games of choice from a short list with lowest value of 69.99 up too 119.99. after deciding the 2 games we wanted from the list we went to the till. added an extra controller to go with it. suddenly our purchase broke $1000.00. as we left in confusion as to how it got so high we reviewed the receipt to discover we paid full price for both games and for the system. we quickly returned to rectify the situation to be told that without the purchase of the 2 games on the list we were NOT ALLOWED to buy the ***. THIS IS NOT A BUNDLE!!! this is forcing customers to buy extra product in order to purchase the product we were after. this is akin to going to a dealership and saying "i want that truck" and them saying great we are offering 2 accessories to go with it from this list. pick 2 and then charge you for it for a higher value sale even though the accessories are not necessary.*************************************************************** *******************************************************

      Thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention. We strive to provide a positive experience with every customer interaction, but it looks like we fell short on this occasion.
      It sounds as if we didn't clearly communicate our *** bundle program which has been advertised and sold exclusively as a bundle since the initial launch in 2020.
      We will speak with the store in question to ensure that our bundle policy is fully transparent to all customers prior to completing their transaction.

I have stopped purchasing from Ebgames because I very clearly and loudly say no the 3 dollar useless warranty and they put it on my games anyway. ****************************************. I went through my old receipts and could see them from you. I have never agreed to them and I do not want them so stop adding them. ***********
