I contacted ARS to book an appointment to have my 2 year old Samsung oven repaired. This was an authorized Samsung repair dealer. It took over a month to get a repair person to my home. When the repair person arrived he was there for approximately 15 minutes and diagnosed the issue as a faulty main board. I was given an estimate of $470 to repair. I contacted company as they require 50% deposit to go ahead with repair. I mentioned a coupon from their website to alleviate some cost which was agreed too. Repair person returned approx. 2 weeks later to install new part. He was there again approximately 15 minutes to install part. At no time did he check to see if oven was working properly. Went to charge me full price (without coupon) and I had argue about price. Thankfully I had estimate in my email. My oven was still not working properly so called for follow up service call. A different technician came out almost 2 weeks later. (This has now been almost 2 months since initial call) This technician diagnosed an entirely different issue with my stove (the door hinges not causing oven door to seal properly) I questioned the initial repair and was told to call head office. In dealing with customer service I was quoted a price for second repair and told no further service charges would be incurred. I just received and estimate for double the price I was quoted plus a labour charge. I have reached out to company and requested to speak with management about the issue but have thus far been denied. I'd like assistance with to resolve this issue.
