I contracted with Sheffield to move goods from Markham Ontario to Victoria BC with requested delivery dates May 15,2023 to June 8, 2023. The company sent a team to pack and load my goods on May 8, 2023. On May 18, I received an email stating that my shipment would leave their warehouse May30-31, 2023. As of today ( June 15, 2023 ) I have not received anything. I have tried to contact the company via email and voicemail to see what is causing the delay but have not received any reply. I am frustrated and wish to resolve things either by delivery of my goods or else compensation for a lost shipment. It has caused significant difficulties with setting up my new residence. Prior to hiring a lawyer I thought to use this complaint process to find a resolution.Customer response

Sheffield Moving & Storage finally did contact me to let me know when my shipment would be delivered. Very weak excuse about why the shipment was delayed. I never did hear from them regarding my complaint so not surprised that neither have you. The poor communication from this company was the major reason I complained and I feel that other potential customers should be made aware of this. ********* * ** *** ***** **** ********* ******** ** ** ****** **** ****
As I have my things plus I have paid then I am not sure what you can do other than post the complaint and say it was unresolved.
