On Nov.14,2023 JCContracting started the construction of a laundry room on main level of my home. They said the job was to take about a week and 1/2 and here we are 3 Months later and it is still not completed. They were to cap off taps downstairs and said they would have that done when their plumber was in town. It is not my fault their plumber is out of town and it is inconvenient....I want the capping done! Taping they done on new new construction has lifted and causing the paint to bubble. I want this repaired. I did not anticipate any problems and have used up the paint that was used for the job. So they will have to match and purchase the paint to fix the repair. I will be submitting what I paid for my Laundry Room Construction to the Government for some reimbursement as I am *********** monies back for making my home more assessable for me to live in as a Senior. I need JCContracting to to give me my paid invoice, receipts and original quote .I have not received any paperwork for this job. I have called 3 times and left messages and sent 3 text messages to JCContracting and have had NO response! It has been at least 2 weeks since my last message was sent.Customer response

We started a job for ***** to create a laundry room in her bedroom. After starting the job she changed things and added things and expected it for free. She said we should have assumed she wanted these things. But I told her we cant assume in this line if work because of cost change and its all what the costumer tells us they want in the beginning. We went and picked up new washer dryer 4 times before we actually got it and charged her nothing. She gave us gas money for one of the trips. And I told her normally contractors charge for gas and time each trip, but we were being nice. There was hold *** from electrician and plumber because of lining up times for them to come in. Everything was done proper but she wanted one of the water lines capped a certain way but didn't state that until after job and price was settled. And then wants it for free, because we should have assumed. As for the peeling tape , she called and messaged me about it and i tried to reach out to resolve the issue but couldn't reach her because her phone is off. That again isn't on us. So we finally got ahold of her and I went over to start to fix the peeling tape. She had used the wall color ( paint) and she said we had to buy more, even though we told her to save the paint for touch *** (Just incase). But she used it anyways. We tried to resolve the issue and told her when she gets the paint then i will fix the rest. But she would rather not buy the paint then come to an agreement. So we believe that we done what we could. It was nothing but a hassle and issues since the job started. But never the less we wish her the best and hope we can come to an agreement.Business response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is not satisfactory to me but I care not to have any more dealings with the company and, as always, just be fair, honest and truthful about JCContracting moving forward. I too, wish them well.
