      On Jan 13th 2024 I went to hair unlimited salon and showed her a picture of the style and color that I wanted and asked her if she was able to do it she said she needs more time coloring, but she said she will do the roots light brown and the style she will do now,I asked her the cost she said normally it's $100.00 for color, but cuz your hair is long I charge you $150.00 for the color and $50.00 for cut. when she finished the color it became black I was very upset and told her that I asked for light brown what have you done, she started making excuses telling me crazy things. Before she started to do cutting I showed her the picture again and told her the length not to be touched.When I noticed that she was cutting too much again I showed her the picture to make sure and repeated to that the length has to remain the same.when she finished I got very upset ,cuz she cut my very short and the style wasn't even close to what I asked for ,again she started telling me crazy things like I try to help you and I don't know how to explain that to you, you don't need long hair, why you want long hair and she started showing me her hair saying see I look good with short hair and your hair will grow again don't worry about it. She asked $250.00 I was very upset left the money on the counter and left. * *** **** ********* *** ***** ** *** ******** ** **** *** ******* *** ****** **** **** **** * *** ******* ***** ** ** * ******* ****** The next day My husband called to talk to her she hung up on him.

      Apologies for not responding.  When we saw this letter we read it and are now responding

      The case stated January 13 but it was actually November 25 which we are confirming based on our reservation system which we entered manually from their initial phone call.

      I feel like I did everything possible to set realistic customer expectations based on what is reasonably possible.  During multiple rounds of customer consultation I explained the multiple processed colours she came in with, we could not get the light colour she was asking for and that it had to be darker.  Additionally the cut that she was asking for was also not possible because of the many different lengths she had in her hair and that the end result would be shorter.  For both items, colour and cut, the pictures she was presenting were not possible and that the result would be darker and shorter.  I gave the client the option to not cut her hair.  I explained that the desired colour would only be achievable on another visit at another time.   I feel like we had an agreement and we proceeded.  

      Regarding the price - it was higher than the estimate because of the amount of products used and the amount of time it took.  To give an example of how challenging the job was, it took 5 tubes of colour to get the result. The consultation alone was possibly the most difficult I've ever done.  The consultation was made much more difficult because the husband was answering the questions making the choices.
