Mr. **** *********, Manager ********* **** ******* ****** *** ***** ****** **** ** *** *** ************** ** *** *** Sir, On April 25, while visiting Charlottetown, I broke down. I did business with CAA who recommended your garage for the repair. As your garage was closed during the outage, I went to your business the next morning. I was well received upon arrival and good service. What was my surprise when paying to see your invoice. (Copy of invoice in attached file) You will notice that we put white corrector on the first price to add 673.17 on top of said corrector. Finding the amount very high, I checked at ******** **** the price for an alternator for a 2013 ***** Journey. I was told that it varies between $250 to $300. Arriving in the Islands, I had another battery charging problem. I managed to get to my usual mechanic and the problem was that the alternator connection had not been done correctly. The connection was not “clipped” and from time to time the connection was lost with the alternator. Is it an oversight or a lack of knowledge I cannot say but an error can happen to everyone and above all it did not cause any additional costs other than a little stress, I took the opportunity to ask my mechanic how much this would cost me to change my alternator. 360.00$ placed that I was told, Look for the error, 250 to 300 plus the work at ******** Tire, 360 installed on the islands and 673.17 at your business. If this isn't extortion or theft, we wonder what is. Is it because you were dealing with a French-speaking Quebecer from the Magdalen Islands that we are revising the initial price to double it, ****** ******* *** ******* **** ************** *** *** *** ************
