Purchased expensive frames $1,000 several years ago with lifetime warranty. Recently fell & scraped one lens badly but frame was great. Returned to business to get new lenses with new prescription, left the frame with him of course, gave owner **** number to pay $495, Nov 18. He said **** machine was not working so just wrote number down & said he would run it through the next working day. However **** had already gone through by the time I got home that afternoon. Two weeks later I phoned him & he said his delivery truck wasn’t there yet. I left several messages about the glasses, no response, so I walked by his store and could see a pileup of mail pushed under the door of his business but obviously nobody had been there for awhile. Upon asking two businesses close by they indicated he hadn’t been in for quite sometime. Our latest msg to him was - could we at least get the frames back. No response!
