About Us
BBB Serving Eastern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula is a non-profit organization with the purpose of promoting an ethical marketplace and creating a community of trustworthy businesses and charities throughout our service area, which spans the eastern half of Michigan’s lower peninsula from Jackson County, north through central Michigan to Alpena, and includes the entire Upper Peninsula. In addition to helping resolve consumer complaints, we also offer many additional services to educate and support both consumers and businesses, including BBB Scam Tracker, BBB business profiles, business accreditation, advertisement evaluation, consumer review submission, networking events, community speaking engagements and more.
