BBB Southeast Texas Torch Awards

Better Business Bureau’s annual Torch Awards for Ethics honors organizations and individuals that demonstrate excellence in the marketplace, a higher level of character and a commitment to community. Selection is made from a variety of applications from the Southeast Texas region by an independent panel of volunteer judges.

Annual Torch Awards Event & Celebration

BBB Southeast Texas hosts an annual event in late Spring or Early Summer each year to celebrate and recognize honorees and award recipients. The event is also a major fundraiser for our BBB Education Foundation. Save the date for the 2024 Torch Awards: June 6th at Bmt Civic Center!

The criteria for this award is based on community involvement and Better Business Bureau’s core values: excellence, integrity, teamwork, trust, respect and community involvement. Awards are given in four categories according to business size.

Spark Award

This award is given to business leaders 35 years of age and younger AND/OR owners of any age that have been operating for less than 3 years. Recipients demonstrate a high level of character, generate a culture that is authentic through its mission, and connect with community.
