THIS ROLE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR:
• Perform routine maintenance, scheduled preventative maintenance (“PM”), DOT Inspections and follow up repairs to diesel equipment (light and heavy).
• Respond to and implement service and maintenance requests.
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair various types of diesel equipment including, but not limited to the following: Electrical/Brake/Cooling Systems, Starters/Alternators, Air conditioning systems, Fan clutches, Engine electronics, Power steering systems, Engines (gas and diesel), Transmissions (manual and automatic), Clutches, Differentials, etc.
• Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test instruments such as handheld computers and pressure gauges.
• Document and upload pictures of work performed, parts used, and all findings observed
• Accurately complete DOT forms and all other forms of documentation in a timely fashion.
• Work with a high degree of independence and manage your own daily schedule with a high level of productivity
• Manage parts inventory and equipment provided in shop and/or on a service truck and perform periodic reconciliation.
• Establishes and maintains good working relationships with assigned customers and vendors. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE:
•Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Diesel Technician.
• Valid Driver’s License required. CDL-A preferred but not required.
• High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education. Technical school is a plus.
• Must provide own hand tools that are adequate to perform job functions.
• Excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with customers and their drivers.
• Proficiency in the use of mobile devices, navigation of mobile applications and use of email to document repairs and communication. Ability to learn new platforms
• Willingness to work scheduled shifts and work outdoors / in the elements at customer yards/locations when needed.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, multi-task and apply initiative.
• Positive attitude, Safety conscious, good instincts, and self-motivation
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to balance a variety of tasks.
•Proficiency in and ability to obtain certificates for DOT Inspection and Air Brakes repairs

Essential Performance Functions

What we're looking for: Audit Senior Accountant

A senior has the primary responsibility for completion of client engagements within budget, supervising one or more staff accountants as necessary, and presenting the workpapers for review to a manager or partner.
Essential Performance Functions
1. Takes a leading role in the technical and professional development of the staff accountants and interns. Establishes and communicates roles and expectations for staff accountants at the start of the project and provides candid and constructive feedback on the work completed.
2. Review workpapers prepared by staff accountants and assumes responsibility for the completion of the work product. This requires the knowledge, judgment and ability to delegate, monitor progress, provide on-the-job training and feedback. Reviewed workpapers should be free of errors.
3. Begins to build strong relationships and a high level of credibility with the partners, managers and staff. Builds trust with firm leadership by consistently completing work accurately and timely. Functions effectively in a team environment.
4. Builds a strong relationship with firm clients. Properly communicates with clients to answer questions and request documents needed for the completion of work. Provides superior client service by returning calls and emails promptly.
5. Participates in the firm's business development activities by identifying new client prospects and expanded service opportunities to existing clients. Seniors should begin to identify needs the client may not recognize.
6. Actively participates in professional, business and/or community organizations. Seniors should build a strong network of professionals, both within the firm and outside the firm. Seniors should allocate at least 50 hours per year building and maintaining their network.
7. Controls the progression of engagements, making sure the project is prepared correctly, within budget and on time. This includes planning and scheduling of the engagements, writing the engagement letter, establishing a budget, completion of the workpapers, writing the report and presenting completed project to a manager or partner for review with the expectation that no changes will be required.
8. Perform necessary research.
9. Analyze entity documents such as board minutes and company agreements and determine the appropriate financial statement presentation.
10. Productivity: Approximately 1,575 hours billable with realization of approximately 80% or more.
