I purchased a charter package on 8/16/22 via the computer for 8/17/22 for 3 people for a bear-watching trip. The amount was $1,963.05. Apparently, there was no availability on 8/17.22, so the computer changed the date to 8/24/22. I tried repeatedly to reach the company, by phone and through their website "contact us." There was one response by text that they were still out of range on the water and that there was no availability on 8/17/22. They NEVER responded to my further numerous attempts at communication.Business response

Facts are this client made the wrong reservations and requested a cancellation outside our period of ***** for cancellations.
Cancellation for a fully refundable within 30 days.

You must give a minimum 90 days notice for a full refund. Less than 90 days notice: no refund will be given unless the vacancy is filled by canceling party.

I am rejecting this response because:When I logged on to buy the trip, the date of 8/17/22 was available and I purchased it. After seeing my confirmation email, I noticed that the computer automatically changed to the next available date, which was 8/24/22. I would not be in town for this date. I IMMEDIATELY started calling the company. That same day. The company says that I did not contact them until 8/17/22. The screenshot of my outgoing phone calls to the company number ************** show this to be true. Also, their text response on this same day shows that they received my calls.
However, I received no further communication with the company. I even used their company website to try to reach out with no response.
I was not a customer that booked a trip months or weeks in advance and then tried to cancel. This whole debacle reveals a lack of good faith business practices. And I hope that they update their website so that this doesn't happen to someone in the future. No one should have this happen.
