I requested their services to fix the water pressure in the shower. They broke the pipe and they want to charge me for fixing what they broke.Business response

We were called to fix the water pressure for her shower. When the tech disassembled the unit he noticed the build-up of water deposits in the pipe. The pipe was thin and old; as he began to scrape out the deposits he had to stop due to the vulnerability of the pipe. He told her that he would have to replace the pipes with pex pipe due to the thinning of the copper pipe. He did not have the parts on him and told her that he would be back the next day to complete the task. She complained to the BBB that night before the task was finished. The next day she called in the morning and asked the office staff who was going to fix her pipes and complained that she was told a different price for the cost. She was told that the task would be completed that day as it was scheduled. After seeing the complaint on our e-mails, Larry spoke with her and explained the situation and offered her to only pay for 2 hours of work total. She didn't remember the office staff telling her that the cost would be a minimum of $225 per hour, as well as the tech talking to her the first day explaining the situation before he left.
