I towed my vehicle to Nissan of Auburn to be diagnosed on Friday ********* due to it stop cranking after I filled up with gas. I let the service agent know that I've never had an issue with my car and I believe it was bad gas. Agent(Phil) told me diagnostics would be 85 dollars so I left my key with him. Starting Monday I called everyday on my lunch break to ask if they had started on my car. On Tuesday when I called I was told it was bad gas but later that day I received a voicemail from Phil stating they don't think it was bad fuel any longer but they would continue to search for the issue. Wednesday when I called on my break they stated they had a large ticket before mines and haven't started. I said fine but please call once you start. Thursday when I called on my lunch break they stated again no one has started on my car. Friday I call on my lunch break and they state the car was ready ! I was excited but was a bit confused when Phil told me the bill. They never called to tell me the diagnosis just started the work. I spoke with the manager when I arrived on Friday and let him know I didn't authorize them to start on my car and that they were suppose to call me with the diagnosis. The bill I was expecting was for a diagnosis fee not a total work up! To release my car I had to pay $804.18. I paid the fee because I was tired of presenting my case with the manager. He even pulled the call and confirmed that I didn't know anything about my car until Friday ********** but still made me pay the fee. I paid the fee but once I crunk my car there was a noise that I've never heard on my vehicle. I attempted to let them know of the noise but they closed once I was walking out the door. I drove my car home but within 1000 feet of reaching my yard the car cut off and would not crank back up. I literally had to push my car in my driveway. I really would like help settling this issue. I would either like a refund or for them to at-least fix the issue of my car not crankingBusiness response
