We paid $250 for my nephew to go to this program and the County was going to pay the difference. However, once there and jumping through task after task we were told we were not a fit for their program. I have been promised numerous times that ****** and **** would get the $250!returned to me. I paid using cash app. It isnt that hard. He continues to decline my request but says the board will issue me a refund. He along with **** are the board members. Now they will not answer the phone or respond all I am asking for is the $250 paid that was unused.Initial Complaint

Me and my boyfriend was trying to seek help at this business. The first time we went in the office and paid 450 via check they put us in a house where there was active using and or abusing alcohol. We told them about the issue and decided to go somewhere else to give them time to find us a new location. I called back in a couple days and they told us to be in the office at 930 am not telling us they didn't have a room for us. They got me to sighn all kind of paper work then sent us to a apartment that was totally unliveable ... it was filthy, two active users , no door knobs on the door... bugs.... it smelled horrible.... then they refused to give me my money back telling us we had to stay there or we were forfeiting the money to leave the programBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2021/11/30) */ That is not true we do not allow using under any circumstances I can not go into details about what actually happened but I will say they were made aware that we don't do refunds under circumstances that are not our fault it due to their actions why they are not here and they know what that is that is our position thanks Consumer Response /* (3000, 9, 2021/12/03) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) They did not inform us there would be no refund. They told us they would house us somewhere else and the place they tried housing us in is unlivable and unexseptable. The apartment has been on fire you can see where there was damage to the building. I don't even know why the health dept hasn't shut that apartment down and deemed it condemned. As you can see the conditions that they put us in the second time was disgusting and horrible. We were told that we could possibly get a refund or go to another apartment over the phone so the first time we didn't sign any paper work the first thing they made us do when we went into the office the second time was sighn paper work and the paper work then stated no refunds.... but we didn't get to see the living conditions until after we signed.
