This company set up signs on how to pay for parking, when you park in their parking lots. I followed all instructions and paid using their app. When I came back, I received a $60 dollar ticket for an unpaid parking. When I called their support line a lady answered and told me that shed transfer me to talk to someone. The phone never rung and immediately went to a voicemail that said we are busy, call back later. I called again and asked the lady to transfer me to someone who could help me she then told me no one could help me until I placed an email dispute. She continues to change the story and the steps needed to dispute this ticket. They give you tickets and then make it impossible to dispute them.

Thank you for the information. This dispute should have been sent to our company directly at the email on the citation that was received. ******************************** and we could have instantly resolved this matter. No communication was attempted with our company by this customer.

As a notice number was provided I have been able to look into this and payment was made 6 minutes after the ticket was written. As this is  within our grace ******* I have void the open notice and no further action is needed.

      Thank you

717 Parking has a public parking lot at the corner of **************** and ************** in *****, FL. This is an unattended lot with a Kiosk to execute payment. I parked at this lot on Feb. 26 and Feb. 27 of 2022. I parked at this location other times and I am familiar with the payment schedule. The kiosk was not operational on the above mentioned dates. The online website was also non-responsive. There is no options provided if either of these system are not available for payment. I should also note that the The typical parking fee at this lot is $11 for less than 6 hours. I parked after 4pm and left before 10pm both days. On Saturday, Feb. 26 there was no notice on my car. On Sunday, there was a printed notice on my windshield for $55 for non-payment: $30 for parking fee and $25 for non-payment. I disputed this charges with 717 Parking and they denied my request. They stated that if I didn't like it, I should park elsewhere, and option not communicated to the users an option if their payment systems are not working. I believe the parking fee should have only been $11, and the $25 charge for non-payment dropped since their systems didn't work (kiosk non-functional and website unresponsive). I decided to pay rather than continue to argue, since they threatened to tack on an additional $25 fee for late payment. In their payment website I found that an additional notice, which I did not received, was issued against my car for Saturday, Feb. 26,. In total I owed them $110, plus a $10 "convenience" charge for paying online, for a grand total of $120. I feel the practices of 717 Parking are deceptive and unethical. Although they state that the lots are unattended, they have someone monitoring the lots and issuing notices, so they should be issuing notices for a regular parking fee with no "non-payment" $25 penalty when their systems don't work, or close the lot, instead of tricking users to charge them exorbitant penalties.
