This is specifically about ********************* Mazda:After quite a bit of back and forth from a salesperson, ******************************* (anytime I would email, I would not get a reply; instead of replying-all, guy kept emailing my mom instead of answering me and would start off the email with my name ?), we committed to purchasing a used ***** CR-V. We confirmed the date, time and down payment and he said he would see us then. We were all excited for it - my mom's old car died and we've been trying to find her a decent user SUV as a replacement. The very next day (today), after everything had been agreed upon, we texted asking for the Carfax info again as the car had been taken down from the site. We texted b/c it's the only digital communication he would somewhat reliably respond to eventually. No reply for several hours, and when we did get a reply, he simply texted "The car has been sold by the lot next door." We call, he ignored us. He wasn't even professional enough to call us - no, he *texted* us and then ducked our calls. We called to speak to the general sales manager and she was very short and snippy with her replies. We waited a bit to cool down before my mom called so she could be calm. The lady couldn't be bothered with our situation and could not care less about any of the situation and basically said that we should've signed for it and bought it on Friday (yesterday) when we were interested. So my credit gets checked, I lose a few points from the inquiry, we agree on terms, a date and time and he bails on us. Very professional. Avoid this place and this guy. I can see why they have a less-than-stellar rating.Review from Eddie R

I left my car, 2015 **********, with a service rep by the name of ******. She asked me to remain patient while she initiated the process to get my car approved for warranty coverage for the new engine that my car needed. After ten months, she called and said my car was covered, but I would need to pay to have it towed to another dealership in *********** since their service department was too shorthanded and inexperienced. I paid nearly $400 to have it towed just to find out she lied to me to get my car off their lot. She wont return any of my calls. The other employees always insist shes on lunch break or out of the office. This wasnt my first bad experience with this service department, just my first time reporting them.Review from Yolanda D

Dean McCrary has extremely poor customer service. I had a 2012 Kia Optima that I bought new off their floor. The first engine went out at 84,000 miles and again in May. I took my car to Dean McCrary after my engine light came on. It was their two weeks bf they could even look at it. They installed a $*** fuel injector that I didn’t authorize and told me afterward that I needed an engine. I ask why did they put the fuel injector and what happened with the diagnostic test. Monica stated it was the only way to determine if I needed an engine. By this time I’m ****** and ask for Kia 800 number bc they refuse to fix it stating the Lifetime Warranty doesn’t cover cylinder. I filed a claim with Kia Corporate. It took them from May to September ( 4 months ) to tell me they weren’t going to fix it. After offering me what they call a Goodwill Program. It pays for your engine when it’s not cover under the recalls or their False Advertising Lifetime Warranty. I quess it’s designed only for certain ppl. Kim, the manager in Customer Affair is a joke. She never return my calls until finally in September after speaking with her on two different occasions. She decided with her unpleasant attitude “ We can’t fix your car “ high and dry. So after that I turn back to Dean MCrary concerning the $*** fuel injector charged which Monica thought Kia Consumer Affair were going to put in a new engine. She stated after I question her about the charges that we would put the $*** on your engine bill. Well, after they refuse to fix my engine they insist on me paying the $***. I call the service manger he had a nasty attitude. He told me that I authorize the injector. I told him I didn’t. He argued with me I did. He told me that until I get the money my car was going to sit their. Justin the GM denied ever speaking with me. Bill the VP were extremely nasty. He ask why did I bring my car their and told me I had to pay and pick up my car bf they start charging me a storage fee. I’ll give them a??Review from Ruby B

I took my Mazda to Dean McCrary service department to have it serviced. I sat in the customer waiting section for approximately 5 hours only to be told that I needed new tires to replace the one tire that had a nail in it. I paid for the tires and left because they had to be ordered. Also was told I needed a cluster. Time went by and I took my car in for the changing of tires and the service man Mark K****** who is in charge of the service area told me it would take about an hour for this to be done. I was there for hours and after the tires were put on, they put putty on all four of my tires. He took it upon himself to take a sacred piece of jewelry off my key fob and put what he wanted on it. I called him and expressed how I felt about the putty on all my tires. He is a rude person and should not be in a customer service position. I have complained to the manager and advised her to remove him, because he is bad for business. I will never have my car serviced there again.Review from Victoria H

Dean McCrary on I-65 mobile al, has the worst Customer service ever. They have had my car over three weeks. They don't call to tell u anything about your car and when u call they never answer the phone. They tell u your car will be ready one day and it's still doesn't be ready and their not professional enough to call u to let you know that your car isn't ready still. Brand knew car and they don't offer a loner car while your car is being fixed. I asked for one and they said they stopped that 2 year's ago. No customer appreciation or anything. No free oil change or anything when u purchase a new car with them. I hate I every purchase with them and I will never do business with them again. The Gm bill is never available to speak with.Review from Wanda D

Dean M******* of Mobile, the salesman **** to me the day I bought the Kia 2021 Soul. Mr. Dewayne C******. He showed a sales contract that my payments would be $****** a month. Told him I could not afford a payment that high because I am a widow and on a fixed income. He said sign and come back when 1st payment is due & he would have my payments lowered. I did go back to talk to Mr. C****** after he had come back from medical leave. I got no results. I have talked to about 3 or 4 managers at KIA and not received any help at all. One did tell me to go to a credit union I told them how I was deceived by Mr. C******. They never offered to get to the bottom of my problem. Their service is unacceptable, deceiving and untrustworthy. I also had a mishap on the highway in July. A non fault accident, hitting another driver's jack that was in the middle of said highway. I had no way to dodge the object as other vehicles were on each side of me. Kept my car for 8 weeks. Then gave me the run around of picking up my car. I thought taking it to the dealer that I would get better and faster service. KIA took my vehicle although I have been making some of the payments, as again...I am on a fixed income in which they DID know and initially said would lower. Now I am without a car since November 5th. I paid every month of $****** of what I could afford until I got results of lowering my payments. No, after everything, wasn't enough. All salesman were not concerned nor were they sympathetic to my problem at KIA. I was also told that the Consumer Affairs could not help me. Do I need to contact Federal Trade Commission or Consumer Financial Protection Bureau? Will be happy to hear from you and hope with good news. Any help would very much be appreciated & I thank you in advance.
