      On 5/22/24 Holland installed a pump to correct an issue and reroute my ac drain. They were paid $550.00. I noticed the drain was not draining through the rerouted drain, instead underneath my siding. I contacted them and set an appointment for 8am on July 16, 2024. I contacted them at approx 10:30 and was given a time between 1 and 3. I contacted them again at approx. 3 and reset for 8 am on the 17th. No show or call on the 17th or the 18th. I requested a refund on 7/19 and have yet to receive a call or refund.

      As the homeowner stated we arrived in May. We installed a condensate pump and hooked it to drain line. We ensured it was working before leaving. It has been over 2 months. We were not and have been able to get ahold of homeowner to resolve this issue after her posting on Facebook. We will gladly go check our work and stand by it. But a refund will not be issued. System has been working for over 2 months properly. If customer wants this resolved they need to contact our office ASAP.

      I am rejecting this response because: The assumption is that the repair had been working for 2 months. I did give the water to check that the pump worked, but they did not go out back to see where it was draining from. This service was done the last week of May. I had not been using the AC prior to the service. I work getting home after 5. I assumed if the drain had been working, any drainage due to the heat had evaporated. After a few days of checking, I did notice moisture behind the unit which was the location of the previous drain. I then placed a bucket under the alleged rerouted drain and accumulated nothing and checked the inside of the drainage pipe which was dry. I scheduled an appointment for July 16 at 8 am the week prior to the appointment. On July 16, at approx. 10:30, I called their office. I was told they had made the choice to go work on another job but should be by between 1 and 3. At approx. 3, I called and rescheduled for 8 am the next morning and asked that they not let me sit around again all day. On the 17th and the 18th I did just that. No show and no call. On July 19, I contacted the office and requested a refund. I was told the owner, Allen, would have to give me a call. It wasn't until July 29, after I posted my experience on the Bad Contactor Facebook page did Holland make any attempt to contact me. This was his first response:

      He also posted complaining about the Admin allowing my post. I received a message from the admin advising that he had been contacted about removing my post. 

      I gave them ample opportunity to correct the situation. It speaks volumes that they were only motivated to respond after I posted on the Bad Contractor page. I have no desire to deal or wait around for this company after burning up 3 days of leave time. I need a full refund.

      We had a new A/C system installed about a year ago. We have had multiple issues since installation. We have called them to honor the warranty work and they either ignore our calls and messages, or they don't show up to appointments. They came out once to fix a freon leak and the issue was never resolved yet we were still charged $385 for 7lbs of freon as we were told the issue was resolved.

      We hired this company back in May due to our A/C unit not working. They came out, super nice couple, told us what needed to be fixed and sold us a part to fix it for $30. We also paid them to do a service maintenance twice a year for $150 and said they would come the following week to do the first service. The part they sold us ended up being the wrong part, but we were able to purchase the correct part online and fix it ourselves. We reached out asking if we could get a refund for $30 to return the part they sold but they didn’t respond/dodged our question so we figured we’d re ask once they came the following week to do our service maintenance. They never showed up and never called to reschedule. We called the next day and they said they’d come out the following week. Again, no show, no reschedule or heads up. I messaged on Facebook where they finally told me an emergency happened and that they would be out the following week. Ok no big deal I understand things happen. The following week comes and no show and no reschedule and no cancel. Our A/C went out again and we call pleading them, to please come out this time and she says they can try the next day. Again no show/no call. We fix the problem ourselves through YouTube videos but it was difficult and something that should’ve been done with the service maintenance (pipe needed cleaned out). We called them again last Friday and she assures us they will be out this Tuesday. Again, no show/no call. We have had to schedule so much around them coming out to service our A/C and than them not showing has become a complete waste of time for us and total us being out $180 for a job they never did and a wrong part they sold us. Now it’s July 12th so we have given more than enough time I feel to get a refund after all this mess to pay a different company at this point.
