My car was needing work done on it. This business told me about a third party program that they partner with where if you get approved they pay the auto shop the complete amount up front for the work needed to be done then I pay in monthly installments to thr third party program. I was called and told that I was approved for $1,750 while my bill was a little over $1,600. They dealer told me to drop my car off Monday the 15th at 8 am and I did so. I even have a text messages showing where I got the approval. They did work on my car then once they were finished he tried submitting the application but I assumed that it was already done since he and this message both say that it was already approved. When doing so, he got the application declined and they are now trying to hold my car for 30 days until I am able to reapply or until I pay them $1,700. They should’ve made sure everything was correct and had pushed through before even working on the vehicle or even giving me a date and time to drop the vehicle off. That is not on me. I only gave them the information needed to see if I could get approved for the program and once I did they should’ve pushed it through or did whatever it is they needed to do before even having me drop the car off to make sure that they received payment from the third party company.
