Aug 13- 22, 2024. I called regarding a broken water hose to my refrigerator ice maker/water dispenser. They said they could fix it. On 8/13 they came out, confirmed the leak, and fixed it. (They DID NOT test to see if water was flowing to the ice maker!) They told me the hose was very old and needed to be replaced and turned off the water until the hose could be replaced. No receipt was given until my $75 check cleared. It did on the 15th and the office said they would send me a receipt. On the 16th they replaced the hose. The technician pulled out the old RO system to get to the water turnoff and insisted he dispose of it. I told him I could easily put it in my garbage and that the water tank was new and I wanted to keep it. He kept insisting and then proceeded to take the tank and system to his van. My only thought was he needs the recycling money. He also said the hose to the dishwasher needed to be tied up to prevent water from sitting in the dishwasher. I told him my brother could do this. He kept looking for things to do, never mentioning the additional charges. I paid by check the extra $225, but still no receipt. (I was shocked when I finally did get a bill on the 22nd and had been charged two $35 charges for the disposal and hose when I didn't want either!! There is still water in the dishwasher!) I called on the 18th that I had no water coming from the refrigerator. They said they would check with the technician and get back to me. They never did. When I discovered there was no water in the ice tray I called again. I informed the technician not to come unless he had a fix as I was now out $225, had no water, and no receipt! Only now did he tell me it was a refrigerator issue. This 84-year-old grandmother was not happy. If they had told me on the 13th they could just fix the leak, I would have given them a good review. Instead, they not only NEVER tested the water flow after fixing the leak they kept finding more ways to charge me!!
