      I have called a few times and have emailed the billing department several times with no response for a refund since I overpaid them. They will talk to you if they think you owe them money but not if you overpaid. I keep getting a bill for $350 that was paid the date the procedure was completed. After Optima took over I kept getting random bills from years past that were paid. I overpaid by $40 and now I cannot seem to get my money back. The $40 was from 2 bills they said I did not pay (but I had) and now since I have a credit from paying twice. The latest bill they are saying I did not pay was from February of 2023 and states I owe $310 out of a $350 bill - showing I do have a credit of $40.

      Re: Provider *******:--Upon my first appointment, ******* never sat down to discuss or get to know me/my health/etc. Upon her standing and quickly naming off blood levels and they being good, I asked: What about my tsh/t3/t4? I have never had blood work done that did not include the thyroid testing. There were no results. They refilled my 60 mg am dose. However, the 15 mg and 30 mg of the ** thyroid, that I am to take in the afternoon, ******* refused to refill. She wants to see how the 60/45 dosage is doing for me. How can that happen when I don't have the 15 and 30 mg refill? I am scheduled for 5-6 days from now to have the blood draw at Optima. I have been taking 60mg am with second dose of 45mg pm of the ** Thyroid. If I am to have blood work to see how this dosage is working for me, I need to have the 15mg and 30mg of the ** Thyroid refilled at *******************. If I only take the 60 mg once a day, the lab will not reflect the 60/45 mg dosage. I came home to see if I had anything extra medication to work with, and I do not. Doing thyroid testing on just the 60 am dose then would be insufficient. I asked ****, *******'s MA if I could get five of the 15 mg and 5 of the 30 mg, so that consistent dosage can be attained for the lab work on this coming Tuesday. He said that ******* would not refill any of my thyroid meds. If we are to test for the 60/45 dosage that I have been on during the course of this last year, then it would warrant my taking the 45 in the pm as well, in addition to the 60 mg am dose. I am out of the 15 mg and the 30 mg. I will call the office to reschedule my lab work, until such a time that consistent dosage can be achieved, for the sake of accuracy with the lab results. In all of the 40 years of thyroid management, I have never had a provider refuse refilling medication that is necessary for the lab work to be accurate. This is quite negligent, and I refuse to be under the care of such an incompetent provider.

      Upon our investigation the patient was seen at our facility on 2/13/2024 by provider ******* FNP. The provider completed an exam and placed a lab order for the patient to have bloodwork to establish a baseline for her current medication. The patient is under an incorrect assumption that she needs to be on the medication prior to completing blood work.On 2/20/24 the Office Manager reached out to the patient to explain that blood work is necessary to assure the appropriate dosage of medication prior to sending in additional prescriptions. During this conversation, the patient stated, she would not complete the blood work without the medication being filled first and then disconnected the line.

      I rate 1 POOR! I feel I was not taken care properly. I have been to Optima twice in the past two and a half months for cold and flu symptoms after first trying over the counter meds. I asked if I could get a prescription instead but all I get is a recommendation for over the counter meds. The first doctor I asked couldn't even tell me if I could get a prescription. He had to run and get another doctor. The second doctor was no help either. He just recommended over the counter medication. After having this same experience twice in the past two months I have totally lost confidence in Optima and will be considering another provider. Staff is very kind and nice but medical staff does not seem competent After two and a half months Im still sick Optima is a total waste of my time

      A past employee that just got fired. I witness them really s**** over a three nurse practitioners, a medical doctor that has been practicing for over 25 years, employees that have been there for 18 years before this company took over. We understand this was the MDs choice but the scams and mistreatment of employees is unfair. The racism and discrimination is unreal as well. The grounds of firing was disgusting. Losing a parent and being told sorry to be insensitive but you shouldve been here. Knowing my family member passed is gross. Threatening to hold someones paycheck when they appropriately put in their last final days of employment is intimidation, even though the company did s**** up on their part. My medical doctor that I was an assistant for put in his time appropriately and they had some 22-year-old human resource come in and tell him to get out and stole his practice. I will do whatever I can to warn people and you can read the reviews from patients on TOP of the complaints from others. Its disgusting. Im ashamed I stayed this long.
