The project was completed July 8th of 2022 at a cost of $14,075 which includes a $325 credit because we we’re supposed to have electric wires internally run which we were later told would not be possible. We now believe the reason it was not possible is because we were given a lesser quality roof and it was not the same brand roof as the rest of the patio. We have repeatedly complained to the contractor that the roof and gutter system leak and the patio was not made with a steep enough pitch as to shed water efficiently. The contractor has put screws in our existing facia drip edge and then removed them and covered it with roofing tape. The contractor added a gutter to an already finished patio that is not designed to be added that way so it leaks and has a lip which creates a puddle on the patio roof. I’d like the contractor to redo this patio with the correct gutter system and roof pitch to shed water. I don’t think standing water on my new patio is healthy or safe and I’d like to know if the roof system is the same brand (Temo) as the rest of the patio structure as that’s what was shown to us and promised. The contractor has told me my complaints will do no good and they don’t mean anything to them. I hope they are wrong because I don’t want see others get sub par workmanship and material from him like I did.

This contract has been fulfilled in all legal form and fashion. Continuous harassment has led to the third and final warning to the homeowner about the harassment charges and restraining order we have currently set up in place with our legal team. Documents can be provided. The facts Are simple and clear to the point and provable. There’s limited space in this response so we’ll keep it very short and clear.
A very extensive punchlist was completed at the homeowner‘s request prior to the completion of the project. Once satisfied, the building inspection took place and passed. Final payment was made in full solidifying the satisfaction in completion built to meet building code and customer standards. A small leak in a courtyard where for roofs cayenne to the new roof that we constructed took place. We set up that service two weeks ago today because the roof is under warranty and we took care of that problem. We have provable video attached. The customer who claims to know many things then criticized, verbally abused and challenged nationwide, the engineering department of the United States regarding manufacturing and now seems to know more than the building officials  stating none of it is done correctly. It sounds like this is another attempt along with the other three the homeowner is made to stand at the top of a mountain and cry as loud as he can. Our legal team has now taken over any further action and there’s now a payment due from another lie from the homeowner stating we caused damage that we did not do and that we had already paid for.

In response to the business, I am not sure what harrassment he is referring too. We have been simply trying to comunicate with the business to get our project completed to satisfaction. I have literally spoken face to face with the business owner a total of three times; at the home show, when he came to bid our project and this last time when he showed up unannounced, as I asked him for a specific time that he would be here and he never replied.

The business owners assistant asked me for a punch list of things needing correction to complete the job. We provided the list with photos and included the 2 damaged roof panels. The business agreed to complete the punch list including replacing the 2 damaged roof panels. Some items of the punch list were not completed. We did submit final payment. It was not until after my complaint with the BBB that the business owner started threatening harrassment charges and restraining order. Then sent me an email stating that I owe him $2700 to replace the panels that he agreed to replace and did so.

Now that the business has threatened us with legal action and harrassment charges, we do not want them to come back on the property. However, our complaint still stands as origionally submitted.

*We now know after confirmation from 2 TEMO representatives that we did not get TEMO brand roof panels. We made it very clear from the beginning that we wanted all TEMO product. Attached is our permit and building plans that do in fact state that we should have TEMO roof panels.

*Our patios still leak and one of our patios does not have enough pitch to adequately shed water.

In conclusion we are looking for monetary compenstation to have the correct product installed and for corrections to be made by a different company.

Good afternoon again! Thanks for providing the information and help in the situation, it’s really appreciate it. I have attached the documents in the time order that are relevant. There’s many correspondence that are irrelevant in most cases but this pertains to the homeowners comments. The video shows the very last time we were at the house a few weeks ago and the work performed. We’ve already responded to this frivolous attempt to benefit somehow financially as the truth emerged in this final request. Information and exhibit provided shut down and directly go against any of the claims made proving that it’s feeling and emotion an opinion and not fact.

Let’s keep in mind that as always we are here to service any project under warranty through manufacturing defect or workmanship labor. Because trust is lost and the vindictive behavior has begun it’s hard to know what would be real or sabotage at this point. No one will know but we have not been notified in email of any warranty issues on either and we have provided once again warrantees to the homeowner from both product lines that are honored in full. You can see the roller coaster of emotions to the email threads and you can see a grateful and happy customer through the end of July until we left last being screamed at and yelled at in the street with the constant threats and harassment via text messages and email with no justification except emotion and dislike. That’s not professional and it’s not business, if there was an issue it would’ve been one sentence and if that was passed on to nationwide sunrooms it would’ve been scheduled for service and resolved as it is under warranty. All else is anger and vindictive behavior with negativity trying to harm the future and any other aspect proving the demeanor and the intent.

The notes on each exhibit address the important detail, there’s some relevant email pictures as well as the foundation inspection and the full passed Inspection can be found online I included the permit number.

There will also be one video that will be coming over separate it wouldn’t allow it to attach but it is critical to show the most recent service call performed and completed prior to this going south.

Please provide all of this as our answer.

      Thank you!

First off, this company has not heard from us regarding new warranty work because they have threatened us with a harassment lawsuit and restraining order. Here are a couple quotes from the business owner, "cease and desist from all defamation of character, negative comments that you have now made with the Better Business Bureau google and any other entity" and  "No complaint will occur even though you will try and even if you’re successful in any form or fashion it means nothing to a company like us. Some people will never be happy and some homeowners believe they know more but as it sits right now  We have no services of any kind to perform and all punchlist have been completed   you’re under warranty so if there is a leak please let us know."

Why would we want them on our property doing work?

For the record, our patios still leak and the video the contractor provided does not show if they are properly sealed as there was no water on the roof at the time of video.
Our patio still holds water on top like a bathtub and does not properly drain. (picture was attached in initial complaint) Regardless if it passed inspection; Inspectors don't check for water drainage or leaks. Inspector mentioned, they only verify footings and if it was attached correctly to the house.

Second, we weren't accused of lying about the dent the employee put in our roof panel until we took our complaint to the BBB. We were already in the process of putting together a requested punch list (attached) the next day and included the damaged panel. We were told no one was working under that patio on that day but we have a time stamped photo that proves otherwise (attached).

Third, we did not get the product that we wanted to be installed (what we paid for) or what is shown on our plans submitted to the City of Phoenix. We confirmed that our plans do in fact state that our roof panels will be "TEMO Aluminum Clad Structural Insulated Roof Panels".
