My landlord had hired ***** who is the owner of air command to install a new AC unit, air handler and return vent. I got home that evening, and found ****** debris in my yard all on the top of the stairs where the new return vent was added, and behind the filter of the return vent was a large amount of trash and open insulation that is blowing through my entire AC system, which can pose a serious health hazard. He told me that he would not come back to clean it or fix the bad work that they did where the air handler was his comment was Im not gonna send someone over there to handle $25 worth of cleaning. This is extremely unprofessional.Initial Complaint

Do Not Use!!!! They were hired to come out and fix a noise in the attic from the air handler. They came out and said the ** units needed to be cleaned and that will take care of the noise. I asked how much and he said $300. 20 minutes later when he called for payment he said it was $600. When I questioned it he said you have 2 units so $300 each. He NEVER said that initially. I reluctantly paid it. He left and the noise came back. So much for my $600 cleaning to correct the problem. He came back 2 or 3 times and could never figure it out. Tried to say it was coming from the refrigerator which it clearly was not.Had another company come out and in about 1-2 minutes they saw the problem, there was a hose or line hitting something with the air handler and it was fixed and noise never came back. These folks are just trying to charge you for things you don't need and don't do anything! So sad!!!Initial Complaint

My air conditioning unit was installed by Air Command and has been serviced annually by the company. This was as recent as May 2023.On 9/3/2023, upon returning to my home, the temperature was 96 degrees. I am 96 years old. I called the Air Command number which says that they provide 24-hour emergency service. The answering machine asked me to leave contact information saying that the call would be returned on Tuesday after the holiday. On the website, it also states that they provide 24-hour emergency service. This complaint accuses the company of false advertising. I am writing this on Tuesday 9/5/2023 at 10 AM and have not received a call back.Business response

I contacted *************** on Tuesday morning about 10:15am. Called her to see how we could help. She was extremely upset that we were not open during the holiday weekend. I apologized to her that we were not open and that the service techs took the weekend off to rest and enjoy the holiday with their families. No ill intent was intended towards ***************, but the team needed the time off.
Thank you.

The installed Day and Night unit was insanely loud both inside and outside our home. ************************************** ***** tried to blame me for the unit's excessive noise because our return was only 18" in diameter and the unit requires 20". I reminded him the guy from ********************* said that we needed to install a second return. ***** claimed I never told him that. False. He then told me it would be an additional $1000 to install a second return. The new return he installed sounded like foil flapping in the wind. I asked him to reach up into the return and tape down the flapping duct. He said, "No." and that we would get used to the noise and to just turn up our TV! I then sent him a second video the following morning showing how incredibly loud the unit was. **************************************************** I asked what his plans for our laundry room was, because the room was still not getting adequate air, and as you'll see in the attached contract it was one of our primary concerns. He tried to charge additional $500 to attach the laundry room duct work to the plenum, which was originally agreed upon in our contract. Luckily I had him add items to our contract. He tried to get us to sign one that was almost blank before hiring him.We then had an energy audit and you'll see the mess he left our duct work in: *************************************************************************************** 1. The front of the plenum isn't connected 2. The furnace exhaust isn't connected 3. Can't prove that he knocked our water heater exhaust off, but he certainly chose not to tell us about it 4. Laundry room doesn't get adequate air and his defense is that he put a new register on the ceiling!5. He didn't fix any of the leaks we paid him to fix 6. He left the dining room ductwork disconnected 7. He didn't seal the living room return 8. Leaks around furnace platform 9. All around rude jerk who is dishonest
