On 01/25/2023, after being advised thru the BBB that Archer Motorsports as a "goodwill effort to resolve my complaint; Archer would be willing to refund the overcharge of $80.00 and that I could come in at my convenience, sign a release, and receive a refund check in the amount of $80.00. I signed the release and received the check. On that same date, I deposited the refund check into my bank account. On the 28th of January my bank advised me that the Archer refund check, in the amount of $80.00, was charged back to my account and I was being charged a $15.00 service fee.I want the refund in the amount of $80.00 and the bank service fee of $15.00, for a total amount of $95.00 to be paid to me in CERTIFIED FUNDS. If they refuse, I will go to the Az Attorney General for the bac check.Business response

The customer may contact the store at any time to resolve issues like this. We went ahead and made out a Money Order for the refund. The customer can pick it up any time. Tell us why here...Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

On 01/31/23 I received a call from **** at Archer Bikes advising that I could come to the shop and pick up a money order in the amount of $95.00 to replace the check which was returned by his bank. This money order also included the $15.00 service fee charged to me by my bank for his returned item. I consider the complaint closed.Initial Complaint

Please refer to the attached pages for complaint details and copies of paperwork received.In summary:I hereby request the Better Business Bureaus office to investigate my concerns stated herein, and assist me with a refund of $178.99 for the disputed items summarized below.-$4.99 overcharge for brake rotor on 2021 bike -$40 charge for brake fluid bleed on 2019 bike -$24 overcharge for labor to service ***************** on 2021 bike -$110 overcharge for service on the Lefty fork on 2019 bike -Total of the above four items is $178.99 Thank you for your attention to this matter and for your assistance in resolving my disputes with Archers Bikes in ******** *******.Business response
