Select adjusters are the worse experience i have had as a new homeowner never again. I canceled things back in June and never heard anything from them till I called due to a check I received and now I have to pay them because the agent did not do her part till 3 months later. What a way to stick it to the little guy. Best part is no work was done or even started and I'm still stuck paying.Review from John and Colleen N

These guys are great! They got my insurance to cover my entire roof. I paid my deductible thats it! When I had questions they responded promptly and professionally. And my roof looks great!! I would recommend this company. Thank you!Review from Jennifer S

My experience with this company was Fantastic!! I got my whole roof replaced and all I paid was my deductible. I would definitely recommend them.

Top notch Professionals! Select Adjusters kept everything on track and was great to work with. This is the roofer everyone needs when working with an insurance company. Work took over a year to get completed on **** square foot flat roof for $38000.00.I have a large skylight that is cracked.I have tried contacting Select Adjusters as they were paid as my acting agent to replace *******.Push * for customer service does not work. Push # for directory does not work. Contact ******* in back office never answers of returns any calls. These things have been a problem since day I signed.At this point I would not recommend Select Adjusters or any of their construction by parts. Literally no customer service. No follow up after job. After job they said they didn't get enough money from insurance and I had to pay for what insurance didn't pay.All I want is a call back and my large cracked skylight replacedSelect Adjusters LLC Response

****************, there was more than just a roof on your insurance claim, there was interior damages and exterior damages also. We gave you and the contractor all the funds to properly do your roof. We were able to increase your settlement to a fair and reasonable amount with a +****% increase. We believe that you should call your licensed contractor regarding your skylight. After reviewing our file we had over 50 contacts with you including 3 project managers and 2 owners. The system shows that you were calling the owner's direct cell phone while he was on vacation, even when you knew that he was out of the country. Select Adjusters makes mistakes, and is far from perfect, but in this case, we did everything that was promised and even refunded you funds. We respectfully ask that you remove this review and call your contractor and get any repairs fixed as you are surely under their warranty. We wish you the best.Review from Donna M

Was the worst experience I have gone through. Took 4 months because they tried to get more money on my deck that didnt' need to be done behind my back. Was not informed. Never would return my phone calls or emails finally got through on ********!! Then I finally got contractors calling and emailing me. But when I read the contract I backed off. I was only suppose to pay for the deductible that's it. Well now I was to pay for any wood that might need to be replaced and only 2 yr warranty? I was so sick over this for months till I got it resolved by just cancel and take your 25% and give me the left over money and I can feel good again to be done with them. Oh and one time called and talked to contractor and asked for info that I never got like appraisel and what it was my money was going to got hung up 3 times and oh I don't know what's happening.Select Adjusters LLC Response

*****, we are sorry that we did not hit your expectations during the claims process. We were able to get a settlement from the insurance company that we think was fair in a reasonable time period. We also can not dictate what your insurance company has placed in their policy, that is why there may have been additional charges for wood that wasn't included. We were trying to get additional funds on the deck, so that you could offset cost of wood and only have to pay for your deductible like stated. We continue to work on bettering our process and are grateful for your feedback and we are working on having better and more thorough communication.Review from kristian

We paid the money the insurance sent out! When we signed papers they told us we would get a tarp to to cover what the wind had damaged to our roof. We never got the tarp. Then they called us to say material was backed up because of the whole covid. They did this for months saying they didn't have material we paid them ***** they wanted us to give them deductible even though we didn't see no material. So then we started getting effy about them. We called our insurance to tell them what was going on they said do not pay deductible until the work is getting done. Our roof got more damaged after the rain all thanks to this people!!!!!!Select Adjusters LLC Response

After winning your roof claim we contacted you at least once per month for over 8 months trying to collect the deductible to move forward with the construction process. You voiced multiple times you were trying to save for that payment, we mentioned we had financing options that you declined. After over 8 months the insurance notified us that the claim would no longer be honored in its entirety due to the date of loss being too old to honor depreciation. At this point our staff contacted you and explained your options and you stated that you would rather receive your owed funds than finance or pay the difference for the roof. This company is not very professional. The roof that was replaced, took them four days to put on. The does not put the new tar paper on the roof, they used the old paper that was on the roof. We have a patio roof that should have been included in with house not separate from the house, which we are having to pay for. The insurance company should be paying for the whole roof.Select Adjusters LLC Response

We have spoken to our client(your mother in-law I believe) and she said that she is working with you to get this review removed. The contractor that did the work did install new underlayment as promised and the insurance did not cover the patio roof due to there being no storm damages. The contractor did the patio roof at cost to help your mother in-law get the roof issues fully resolvedCustomer Response

The guy that installed the only put the new tar paper on the patio roof. The four days it took him to install the roof it rain on Thursday, the rain was leaking in the front door from the roof. There was no new tar paper installed, he had to blow the rain off of the roof. When he went to leave there was 6 stacks of shingle and 2 brand new rolls of tar paper on his trailer from our roof. When he started the front roof the old tar paper was on the house. No the contractor did not do this at cost. We are paying almost $3,000.00, for this roof. The patio roof should have been cover under the insurance, but this company was trying to make Sunrun pay for it, so they would not put it under the insurance.Review from Iris W

My 87 year old mother needed to have her roof repaired. When the adjuster from Select Adjusters came out, he told her grandson that she need to sign a form to give him permission to go on the roof. She was busy at the time, so the adjuster said that it was okay for her grandson to sign the form. This was while he was on the ladder, before he had even gone on the roof. When he left, he turned this form into her insurance company as a signed contract for them to do the work, without her permission. After getting other estimates, she selected a different company. When she contacted her insurance company about her selection, that is when she found out that Select Adjusters had submitted a signed a contract. Luckily the grandson is not authorized to sign a contract, so that is the only way she was able to get out of the contract. SENIORS BEWARE!!!Select Adjusters LLC Response
