Rented Kayaks one double and one single for use on 7/26/23 There was a 100$ Deposit on each kayak Unfortunately One of the people in our party had a medical emergency and I tried to reschedule the trip for next day ! The company flat out refused to reschedule and said I would need to pay a 50$ Reschedule fee on a 45$ rental. So only two of us arrived to pick up one double kayak ! We used it on 7/26/23 and our deposit was returned for the double kayak .However the second kayak that was never picked up from them- the 100$ deposit was never returned! Not only were we forced to pay for kayak we never used, but they also pocketed the deposit. I called several times just to be placed on hold and hung up on. *********** I called the ***** number which is constantly busy ! The incompetence and lack of any customer service is astoundingBusiness response

Antelope Point Marina takes great pride in providing exceptional customer service.
It is very unfortunate that ******************** was not accommodated by staff when circumstances changed for her rental on 7/26/23.
It is our assessment that this is a training issue with our staff and will be addressed immediately.
The refund of her $100 deposit will be requested immediately as well.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
