In 2023 I had a root canal and a crown put on. I had to return to Risas 2-3 times because they were not able to fit the crown on properly. This took MONTHS. I had nothing but problems every time I went in. The hygienist even dropped my crown down my throat, I coughed it up and then she dropped it on the floor and had to search for it! After several long waiting times so many office returns they finally fit it and I was on my way. A year later, my crown breaks off!! I was able to contact the office and speak with a manager to request a refund. I had to go in and have a provider look at it before they would process a refund. Totally understandable. **** in, provider *** the refund. Not one person apologized for this situation, or for the inconvenience. The office managers have attitude and dont smile. This shows me that the professionalism in this establishment lacks greatly. I mean the 2 star review averages speak for themselves. Dont go here.

I must address a concern regarding the experience I had with one of the dentists during the FREE event. The manner in which I was treated by the female dentist who worked on my tooth was unprofessional and dismissive. I have 20 years of experience in the medical field and have undergone this specific dental procedure before without issue. One of my tooth had become a bit sensitive and wanted to address it before it worsened. This procedure takes about an hour, but the dentist completed mine less than 10 minutes. Due to the numbing injection, I couldnt feel the tooth at the time but experienced a ****************. When the numbing agent wore off, my tooth was extremely sensitive jagged, & far from smooth. I was unable to eat for 2 days due to the discomfort. Concerned, scheduled a follow-up ******* the f/u appt, I was surprised to be charged a fee to correct the work that had been done during the Free Dental Day. I was seen by the same female dentist, who treated me with a condescending attitude. When I explained the extreme sensitivity, jaggedness, and persistent headache, she dismissively suggested I had been chewing too harddespite the fact that I hadnt been able to eat anything since the initial procedure. Without administering a numbing agent, the dentist began drilling my tooth down, causing significant pain. I squirmed in the chair, clearly uncomfortable, no effort was made to alleviate the pain. She also did not smooth the tooth or add additional composite to address the sensitivity. The tooth remains jagged, and I am still experiencing pain. This experience was disappointing & left me in worse condition than I initially sought help. Visited another dental office for a second opinion, it was confirmed that the female dentist at Risas ********************************************* drilled down my tooth unnecessarily, causing extreme sensitivity. Now, I am being told I need to pay $500 out-of-pocket for a crown to cover the damage that should not have occurred in the first place.

If you go here for an extraction, make sure the assistant and the dentist are both talking about the right tooth. I told the assistant the last tooth on my bottom left, which she then pointed at on the x-ray, and I confirmed, and the second to last was pulled. She relayed witch tooth to the dentist by the tooth number, and she told him the wrong number. They did absolutely nothing about pulling the wrong tooth and just pulled the right one when I came back. The dentist said he was not going to charge me for the tooth they were not supposed to pull since it was going to have to probably come out later just to look at it as it was done free of charge. Like WTF! The quality of my teeth should not matter. You took something out of my mouth that can't be put back. They should have refunded my money! They also didn't even send me with gauze as the after care instructions say they are supposed to. I don't recommend this place AT ALL! ******* was the assistant who told ********************* the dentist the wrong tooth. They also charged me almost double what their website says they charge.

Initially, my family was grateful to receive the free dental services and thought it was a commendable act for the community and less fortunate. My opinion quickly changed. After waiting for over three hours to get a regular cleaning. I finally got into the chair only to be told that I needed a deep cleaning and they were not able to provide services today. The dental assistant was very rude and got an attitude when I asked her a simple question. Then proceeded to tell me I needed to purchase a membership in order to get a deep cleaning in which the total cost is over $1,000.00. I politely got out of the chair and declined. I am currently unemployed and do not have insurance; which is why I attended this event in the first place. I am highly disappointed with my experience. They seem to be more concerned about getting reviews in order to acquire more customers than actually taking care of the customers that were already in the office. It also appears that they are writing their own reviews and deleting those customers who have complained about their services. In my opinion, do not waste your time, energy, or money supporting this establishment. My family will not be using their dental services ever again.

I had an appointment at 11AM at the ************************** office on 5/29/20024 to get a root canal. After laying in the dental recliner chair a prop of some sort was placed in my mouth to hold it open and a device was hooked up to a machine and placed in my mouth to put water in my mouth and suction it out which was very uncomfortable but I trusted the dentist, After 3 hours of him working in my mouth he told me he was leaving for 5 minutes and he and his assistant left me in that position for 30 minutes connected to that machine! Nobody came to check on me and I was having such anxiety but could not get up unless I pulled that out of my mouth. Finally they came back and finished, I voiced my thoughts about being left. Dr ******* left the temp crown up to his assistant which she broke three times before doing the temp crown and leaving it without the finishing touches because she said she didn't want to break it again. She told me just to be careful with it. Nobody contacted me for the permanent crown so on July ****** I called regarding the permanent crown and they couldn't get me in until 8/16/2024. When I went in to get the permanent crown the assistant could not get the temp crown off so she called Dr ******* and he came in with a drill. I was so nervous and asked him to please not damage the teeth on either side. He drilled for awhile in different places and when yanking on the temp crown broke my tooth off under the temp crown. He broke it off all the way to the gum. I almost cried because that is a front tooth that can be seen. I have to not smile open mouth or laugh. He said he could drill and place a post and crown but couldn't promise how long it would last. When signing to get my refund I unknowingly signed a waiver for any legal actions. I had told them I did not want to get an attorney only wanted that space where my tooth was rectified. Do not sign anything without reading entirely because this practice is just that..they are practicing in you

I called to make an appointment because my bridge had fallen off and broke. They were able to see me the same day! **************** and his assistant, ********** were wonderful and very patient with me. The answer answered all my questions and let me know step-by-step what to expect with the procedure that was being administered. thanks again, **************** and ********** for your professionalism and kindness

BBB gives Risas Dental a average rating of 1.2 out of 5 stars. They need to reflect deeply as to how tjey treat their customers. The comunity has spoken yet they still treat patients poorly. ***** buisness will simply not survive with these current operational behaviours. I am still waiting for my escro refund of $743 since I'm taking my buisness elswhere

THIS PLACE IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! This is the WORST dentist office out there! I called in the morning with a dental emergency and scheduled an appointment and had to take time off work only to get a text (not even a phone call!) that they rescheduled my appointment to a different time. When I called they told me they scheduled someone else at the same time as me so my appointment had to be changed even though I am in pain and in a dental emergency. The person they chose to see for my appointment time was not. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone!!!
