Preferred ********* / Lincare - deserves ZERO stars. They don't even deserve 1 star, should have a ZERO star option.They have the worst customer service, no one can give you an answer and no one seems to care. This is a HOME HEALTH CARE business to HELP people with needs who are released from a hospital/rehab ....but they don't seem to give a **** about these people who need the help. Guess they are just in it for the money. It's sad and disappointing of the lack of care that this business provides to the community. It took me approx. ***** phone calls in a 12 hour period to finally get some sort of a response, and that was only because a considerate driver called and actually left a message I called him back to find out where he was, only to be told it would be another 2 hours (after waiting at home ALL DAY), I responded that was unacceptable and we needed him to come now, to please call his supervisor. The driver called me back and was on his was (still took another 30 min) and I was finally about to set up the equipment at home and pick up my mother from hospital rehab and bring her home.I still could never reach anyone at the *** office, only when I called the 800 number was I told the company was going through a merge and all calls were sent to them. RIDICULOUS!!!!! Worst customer service, care, etc THERE HAS TO BE ANOTHER WAY!!! This is people's HEALTH and well being we are talking about and THIS "So called" health care business does NOT give a hoot about the people they are supposed to be helping and serving!!!!! If possible find another resource but do your research as others I've heard have issues too. And after reading other reviews I see many that still have NOT received the ***************, supplies that are needed currently! We still need items and are NOT looking forward to having to deal with this business anymore than we have to. DO NOT USE PREFERRED HOME CARE/LINCARE. Would NEVER recommend this company. PCP sent in a script for a ****** for my daughter back in November, 2023. I have called and emailed countless times and can never get an answer as to when it will be delivered. It is now March, 2024 and no follow up or communication.Review from Brooke P

I would rather give them zero stars at this rate. Hmm. Where to begin? Twice my son's shakes have come busted and leaking. They have been late multiple times in the past, I am always the one calling to see why they're late and what I can do to get them. Same goes for his diapers.But the biggest complaint I have is that they received his prescription for a specialized stroller and booster seat August 2023! Since then, I've called and called and called. When I do get a hold of someone, it's the good old run around. NOONE WILL GIVE ME A SOLID ETA OR ANSWER. They switched their system over November 2023, when I called they hadn't even inputted his information or script. A script that should have been well on it's way to being fulfilled and sent to me. Now, it's the end of Feb and they still have no answers. I was hung up on this morning and when I got ahold of them two hours later without a callback, it was nothing but arguing with me that they didn't hang up and then being rude and short, giving me the vendor number to call myself even though the vendor can't get me the information I need, said that Preferred has to call them. The second vendor number wasn't even working. I'm thoroughly annpoyed, irritated, and disgusted.Meanwhile, my son is pulling on me while I drive on highways and causing me to almost wreck my car. If anything happens it's on them and their ineptness and inadequate business.Review from james w

I was in town after my.moms death and contacted them to pick up her tanks. They gave me an appt for the next day..NO ONE CAME OR CALLED. I called back and they wanted to set me up another appt without any explanation on why they never came the first time.i asked to speak with a manager but of course no one was available and here again is my appt day and no one still has contacted me. If this is there practice to pick up tanks I can imagine what it's like to drop them off. Ridiculous and terrible values.Review from William P

This company should be closed if they can't provide simple DME equipment. I've been calling since November 2023 for my grandmother's CPAP machine. She still hasn't received it. It's really unfortunate that she has to deal with this company because they are the ONLY contracted provider for Humana Gold Plus/Intermountain Health. I was able to visit MY physician and get a CPAP for myself before she did. It's absolutely ridiculous to think this is how they treat their customers. Every time I call I receive the same story over and over, "we've contacted her provider's office and are waiting for a response to get a valid order." I've tried moving the order to another DME supply company and yet they can't help me because the ONLY contracted DME supplier for that provider/insurance is Preferred Homecare. This company should just close down if they can't even provide their own customers their needed supplies. If you don't believe how bad they are look at their ****** ratings. This company deserves negative 10 stars.Review from Sharon J

Absolutely disgusting staff! My mother and father were expecting a nurse to come to their home to help with education for my mother's new colostomy bag. **** was the nurse that came out and he was absolutely disgusting towards my mother. Would never recommend this company but ESPECIALLY one of their nurses, ****.Review from Theresa G

Awful company to work with. My husband changed his mask to his original design (not the one Preferred Homecare..less wanted him to use). They kept sending the wrong mask!!! We refuse to reorder from this awful company. They are just collecting money from the insurance companies and the unsuspecting public.Review from Deborah H

I've been trying to get my oxygen tanks for ONE MONTH now! I call and call and they just tell me it's out for delivery. I've left three (3) messages now for a supervisor or manager to call me to no avail. I'm being held hostage in my home tied to my concentrator. POOR SERVICE!!Review from Elezabeth C

Its actually a zero rating they are endangering lives by not providing responsible service in an appropriate time period!Wc ordered Oct 23 still not even called back on Feb 24, although numerous calls from *************** ***************** , and hours on the line by me only to be hung up on. 2 months to receiver O2 tubing 3 months to replace scooter batteryAre my recent experiences .No responsibility to the patient in need of service. And in the past has charged me for services never received!
