STOP! Read this before you consider hiring this company. If you don't mind damaged and destroyed belongings, stolen belongings, terrible attitudes of every person that answers the phone for this company, zero return phone calls from their offices after the move , well then, this is the moving company for you. Our move could not have been worse. Seeing our belongings or lack thereof ( many missing items) being brought off the truck, I cried at all the damage. I was also told by an employee that was there the day of our move that he knew an employee stole several of our belongings. When that employee went to the office to report the theft and that he knew who the employee was, he was conveniently "let go". BUT, they made sure they got ALL their money!!!!Review from James M

We were moved from AZ to **. It took over a week for the truck to arrive.Several things were damaged or broken during the move. An air compressor was placed on its side during packing, draining all the oil onto items below it in their truck. When bringing the safe into the house, our floor was damaged. Then the workers placed protection down on the floor to avoid additional damage. The finish on a dresser was destroyed. We were told that the packers either placed a wet blanket or a rough object on it that wore off the finish when stacking items on top of it. The hot tub had a broken front panel and a support. Copperstate obtained a repair quote in AZ for the hot tub, but we called the spa dealer in ** to get it repaired and was told they would have to look at it to see if its even repairable. One painting was damaged due to the material it was packed in. We had provided boxes for packing such items, but they chose not to use them. We filed a claim to the email they provided. We followed up when we didn't hear back and was given a different email address the claim should've been sent to. We called several times after the second submission of our claim and were told we'd get a call back shortly. They never called. We called again and were advised of the "claim allowance" they are willing to pay for all damages that occurred. We asked how they could possibly have come up with such a small claim amount and was told they obtained quotes from local TX vendors but called an AZ spa dealer for a repair quote. We've called several more times asking who the quotes came from so we can call them to come out and make the repairs. They will not provide the contact names and numbers, but they have told us repeatedly we will get right back to you. This has been going on for months now without resolution. A lady said she called and no one answered. I asked why she didnt leave a message and was told I didnt have a mailbox. This is not true and is totally unacceptable.Review from Virginia F.

We used them for a out of state move and when they were putting the sleep number bed back together the remote was missing and ****** is accusing me of lying about it and says that I have it. I bought a replacement from sleep number and it took a week to get it. They also tore the flooring in the laundry room of a new home. I called ********* on the day of the move to let her know and she said she would call me back and that was on June 16th and I haven't heard from her. The owners are not good at communicating with you or returning calls.Copperstate Moving Response

We have spoke to ******************************* on several occasions and no one has accused her of lying about anything. I ******* put in a Claim in on 6/16 about her remote, she called back and told us about her flooring as well. We sent her an email letting her know I needed photos and she sent them a couple of days later. We responded telling her we apologized for the misplacement and could reimburse her $49 the remote costs from Sleep Number and $51 for a vinyl kit to fix one corner tile that lifted up. She refused, said she would be out of more than that and never responded back to us.Customer Response

Copperstate is offering $100 to cover my claim which is less than it will be and give them a better rating. I will not change my rating.Review from Christine C.

They are thieves and liars. It has been almost a year that this company moved me about 15 minutes from where I use to live. In that time so many of my things were damaged or lost I just can't believe it. Since that move I have contacted the company so many time by phone by email even thru 3rd party that hired them. No one will answer me back or acknowledge me. I am at a lose what to do because I live in **************, **** and they are in ******* which doesn't really make sense to begin with. All I want are the damages fixed if possible and lost items replaced. Someone to work with me and at least care a little that they upset my home so badly. I think the worst thing about this move was my mom had passed 2 days before my move which they were made aware of. And to this day I am still finding things missing. ******************************* *** ****Review from Thomas B

After storing our furniture for nine months while our new home was being built, Copperstate Moving LLC damaged, destroyed and lost nearly $8k of our belongings without recompense. Our experience with it has been devasting, both emotionally and financially.Plus, the nightmare continues nearly three months after the move. There have been over 80 phone calls, emails and on-line filings, to both Copperstate and their claims processor, trying to get this situation equitably resolved. The owners of Copperstate, contrary to their companys advertised stress-free experience, have exponentially increased it by refusing to take responsibility for the massive damage and destruction their Company did and fairly compensate us for it.In my opinion the owners of Copperstate plainly dont care about what they have done to us and others. AVOID, AVOID this company. Dont be next!Review from Michael B

Absolute worst decision ever made. From the lies upfront, to the lack professionalism, respect and incompetence. They charged us very high rates, convinced us they where the best for our situation, had 3 different crews walk of the job, overcharged for packing materials which were never used, and most used went of floors to protect wood floors. They "lost" a large Antique cabinet, how do they lose a piece of furniture? Broke a mirror top coffee table, broke a marble top console, broke a venetian glass antique mirror, failed to give us a **** of laden or inventory upon pick up, and we paid extra for full coverage but cannot file a claim due to their negligence, we could go on and on. PLEASE do not hire them, they are dishonest, they do NOT answer calls or return calls, They do not care about you or your belongings, they would not let us start to file a claim until they were paid in full, and we still have not been able to because they have not sent us our copy of the **** of laden.Don't make the biggest mistake as we did, there are plenty of much better choices out there.Review from Alon R

INCOMPLETE AND COMPLETELY DESTROYED! MORE INFO ON ****! Where do I begin with this company that completely deceived me? This company destroyed every item they touched. To top it off, this company did such a horrible job that when I called to find out what happened, the owner, Mark admitted that it was verbatim "a **** show on their part," apologized utterly, and said,,, that he would provide a refund. Here it is almost two weeks later, and still NO REFUND. SMH. Please see the breakdown and pictures attached. Pick-up Service: I should have known it was bad service when the supervisor picked up my glass items marked "FRAGILE GLASS," like a box of tissue. I immediately heard all the glass slide vigorously to one side. I decided to look past this and instead make a polite statement saying, "please note that all the boxes marked fragile do contain fragile items, so please be careful." The second flag was when my husband asked if it was possible to add our four dining room chairs to the move-you would think this was a small request for a moving company, but it was not, as we were informed it would require approval from the manager. The manager showed up at the door but did not greet my husband or say hi. He walks into our home with the most unpleasant expression on his tattooed buff exterior, looks at the chairs, turns and tells my husband, "we can't take the chairs," and leaves without further explanation. We were in shock. Both being in management, my husband and I did not only think this was horrifically unprofessional, but it was also very tense. Drop-Off Fast-forwarding to the drop-off of our items from Phoenix to Las Vegas. The two men arrived around 10 am and began unpacking our items. They did not put down protective mats to keep my new, freshly laid carpet clean. Nor did they remove the styrofoam from my items. Once they started to put together my primary bedroom canopy bed is when the vast majority of the issues began. They put it together incorrectly as the pReview from Sally V

The actual moving personnel were great on both the load in Casa Grande and the unload in ***********. They went above and beyond what we expected. The Administration, both ******* and ***** were hard to impossible to get in touch with after the original quote. They did not return calls or emails in a timely fashion. (And I mean days). We had been told we could use a credit card, only to find out after all furniture was loaded that there would be a 5% surcharge. Was told we could use Zelle, the late in the day after several emails asking for the information we were told that we would have to have a cashiers check by Monday at 8 am or pay the addition fee (over $300) for the credit card use. On Monday, after paying $250 for a special crate for glass we were informed we would have to pay more for it to be uncreated. **** was aggressive and abusive in his language. We took care of the issues with their outside contacted movers, only to be told after the move was finished that there should have been no charge. Her husband **** was wrong. Again. Movers were great, Administration takes rating down. It takes a lot of patience to deal with these owners.Copperstate Moving Response

We do apologize for the miss communication on our part and if there is anything that we can do for you to consider us again, please let us know. We have grown as a company since our last interaction with you and ************************** and would give a coupon towards your next move in the future if you consider ** again.Review from Jason G

On 09/04/2021, I hired Copperstate Moving LLC, to move my property to my new home address, They arrived on time, and all (3) employees were very professional and respectful. After the move, They help set up my furniture and cleared the house. Later that night, I started to help my son put away boxes and we notice that we were missing (1) small box that contained his video game and his ******** Switch. The following day as I was going though my stuff, I notice I was missing my Apple Watch and Beats head set. 09/05/2021 I called Copperstate moving and talk with a customer service advisor, he stated that he would give me call back later today to confirm if they may have left the item's in the truck. I never received a call back. 09/09/2021 I gave the moving coming another call, the service advisor told me that I would get a call back from a Manager, I never received a call from a Manager. Since then I had called multiple time and left messages with no call back from Copperstate moving.Copperstate Moving Response

******************** please call the office at ********** so that we may resolve this issue. These allegations are not true and we have been in contact as per the complaint that is at hand. We do hope to resolve this matter. If you are not willing to accept our compensation for the items missing even though we all are unsure of to who is at fault. I did plenty of investigation and two of our best employees have stated that you insisted on transporting your box of electronics yourself.. With that being said I do encourage you to take the proper procedure in our claims process. And that would be to register a claim@ https://csipros.org/.Review from MaryLou W
