*Please see original BBB report. I do not agree to share my name publicly. Initials and zip code OK.- I visited Sally ******** in person 10/21 to have a fun psychic reading when I was feeling down. Sally told me that my soul was being under attack by "dark souls" and that I needed to purchase $900 candles to help pray them away. I told her I could only afford $600 that day. Sally told me not to tell anyone about this otherwise the "dark souls" would interfere (I was vulnerable and not in a good place and believed this at the time). - I visited Sally again on 10/28 and paid another $240 and received the first set of 2 candles. Sally then told me that not only me, but my family was under attack by the dark souls, and that I needed to continue to pay to make sure they were all saved by the ***** of *** and light because it was a spiritual exchange. Sally told me to put another $200 cash in a box for next time and that *** will tell her what to do with the cash next time I come in. - After that point Sally kept cancelling appointments - sick, unavailable, holidays, etc. - I addressed the scam on 2/4 and asked for a refund of $600 (since I had received 2 candles and was trying to be fair even though that in of itself is exorbitantly overpriced) - Sally wanted to discuss in person, I refused and told her I did not trust her to see her in person in her home, she pushed back, she said she would refund the money but needed to do it in increments. - Sally agreed to pay the full refund of $600 in pieces, paying $100 every Wednesday until the payment was complete. I agreed this was acceptable. I asked for her to send it via Venmo so the full record was there. She said she never had ***** and needed to do it on Cash App or there would be nothing. I downloaded Cash App to receive the refund.- Sally refunded me $100 on Cash App on 2/14 and has since then has been completely unresponsive. - $500 refund remains for services never rendered/scam. - Her business is in photo
