We have been a Republic Services customer for many years. They miss picking up the garbage, we have to stuff 2 weeks of garbage in the can. They say they will pickup the next day but dont come. We pay quarterly and never missed a payment.Republic Services Inc Response

Criminals. This company stole property that wasn't theirs ( my trash bins). They were rude to my wife and basically said good luck getting them back. Filing a police report and going after them for theft.Republic Services Inc Response

They are terrible. They just dont show up, then when you reach out to them, they lie about when they will. We pay for a weekly pick up, but do not receive a weekly pick up. ****************Republic Services Inc Response

Move to *********** ** in July from ************* **. We pay about $40 per quarter more for Republic not counting the variable fees so you never know the cost! Also, the initial startup fee of removing old trash cans and providing new ones. Never had a fee for trash cans in **. In 3 months of service the have missed 2 pickups so we had to take trash to the county dump. Pretty poor service at a very high cost.Republic Services Inc Response

The company offered a 3 year contract with decent fees proposal, which I signed. Within 10 months the fees increased 25% and then another 25% the following year - about 50% increase total in less than 2 years! I looked around and discovered that other companies servicing my area charge fees that are about half of what I was paying Republic Services. In addition their annual increase is no more than with 8-10%. Furthermore, the contract stated that any changes in fees, other than due to their increased cost, need to be accepted by both parties. I requested the termination of the contract and was threatened with early termination charge, with is the average fees for the remaining of the contract. I see that the company's ratings are extremely poor and I clearly see why. Stay away from signing any contract with them!! I would look for other companies in your area if you do have that option!!Republic Services Inc Response

Going on over a month without trash services because of the contract forced by *******************. In addition to the complete lack of service, I am being billed for their trash service as well as an "opt out" fee for not doing business with them. Does that make any sense at all? We are still waiting for our cans to be delivered by them because they did not have enough stock to take care of the city prior to entering this contract. Rotting trash and food is piling up in our house an on the street as they continually miss the scheduled pick *** for us. They have not done a single thing they promised since entering service with them before the Fort ******* contract began.Republic Services Inc Response

Repulic Services are pros at ripping off customers. Just bought a home that already had aRepublic trash container so we set up service with them. They would not pick up any additional cans/items, they just pushed them into our driveway. Canceled service and switched to a different company who picks up these other items with no extra charge. Just received final bill - $48.00 for container removal plus $5.95 Admin Fee plus $21.29 Fuel/Environmental Recovery Fee for a total of $75.24. If I had needed them to drop off a container initially I would have been charged $150.48 just for drop off and removal of an empty container. The new company we chose does not charge any fee for the drop off or removal of containers and they pick up extra items with no added fees. They are about $3 more per month but it is worth the price!!! Will never use Republic again even if I were to have to haul my own trash.Republic Services Inc Response

Republic Services raised $540 to to $670.I called to ask the reason.They explained so many reason for the pick up chargeincrease.and lead to sign the contract it will lower the price back to ******, I signed.Buut , they raised to 670 after 4 month later.I did not realrize that raise for 4 month becuae I set up auto draft They lower the price back 540 after I called for complain.But they refused to give me the credit back for ************** happening again after 5month later of lowering price.I try to cancel my service but they mentioned about the contract.they are luring (raise and lower---- sign contract), playing ( raise and keep until customer call( usually **************************** and someone will call back within 2 day to answer my complain) customer.This is bad scam Depinitly this is scam.Republic Services Inc Response

This company's tactics are criminal. We've used their services for several years, having signed a contract in 2016. Over that time their service was adequate, although they did miss a few pickups.Because monthly charges have increased by 800% we found another service and tried to cancel. After getting a runaround and spending over two hours on the phone, they informed me I'd be breaking the contract, even though I haven't signed a contract in over eight years, I regret that I ever used Republic and I strongly recommend anyone else seeking services to find another company with ethical business practices.Republic Services Inc Response

This is not a business I would NOT choose to have for my weekly trash pick up, if I could choose. We dont have options here in the ************** area. They have an I dont care attitude about the people that pay for the services they receive. We called due to an issue with the distraction of the ******* resolution We will make a not of itfor who and why hasnt anyone reached out to resolve it. They sent out a notice of delay of pick upbut didnt stick to that so we missed the pick up. We called and they said they would have it picked up that day since they were in the areaMOT. Called back and was told in the notes it said would be picked up on TuesdayNOT. Called AGAIN oh so sorry I will let them know you called and need this pick up again NO RESULTS. SO WE CALLED AGAINNO RESULTS. To put it all In directly they have people who take your call, who obviously work from home with their baby next to them since that is what I had to speak over, and type in the call message BUT WHO DOES THIS GO TO TO GET A RESOLUTION? NO ONE! Dont bother expect getting help in any need as a customer. But they sure on time taking out the funds they want to pay for their services! (I would like to note that I have no issue with people working from home, I think it is a great idea UNLESS this way is not working for the company to get the employees to make sure that results are found to satisfy the customer needs)IF YOU HAVE A ChOICE DONOT CHOOSE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR SERVICE NEEDSRepublic Services Inc Response
