The retreat has been severely lacking in providing the necessary care for my mother. We pay over $6k a month and they cant administer medication, clean her room, or give her showers. The last straw when the doctor ordered her a new medication. The medication was ordered by the doctor and by suggestion of the staff. Then over 3 weeks went by and I asked how the medication was going, the staff said they dont have the medication ordered. So the staff called the pharmacy and they stated it was there. So the medication had been in the hand of the retreat for 3 weeks and had not been given to the patient, my mother. The. They said, well we did have it but we cant give it to her since its a shot. Ok, that doesnt make sense but if you cant give a patient medication they didnt even call her doctor or her medical POA. This could be life or death.
