We took our taxes in to *** in March to get done. We kept calling to see if they were done and kept getting the run around. Then when it got close to April *********************************** a panic as we have never filed our taxes late. We still didn't get answers or our taxes back other than she is working on them and they filed an extension without asking us first. We still kept calling and getting excuse that she was out sick, or short staffed, would leave her message but never got any answers. Finally my Mom went in to pick up hers to take somewhere else to get them done. They found both of ours so she wrote a check and picked mine up. She paid with check number 2224 dated 6/05/2024 for $500. $250 being my half that I paid to my Mom . We then took ours signed copies back to the office on 6/6/2024 and she has never e filed our taxes. We payed her for a service. I have called was too many times to count to get her to e file so I can pay and get my refund. I went to her office today and there is a note on the door closed will open as soon as possible . I am requesting for a compliant to be filed and a FULL refund of my $250 so that I can go somewhere else to get my taxes done. I am beyond frustrated with *** and her office staffs excuses. I heard second hand that she doesn't have her license as of March 31. Not sure if its true but if it is then she should have never filed an extension nor should she have done my taxes without a proper license . This is so frustrating for my husband and I as we have always paid our taxes/filed on time and don't know what late fees we will occur but we are expecting her to be responsible for any late filling fees as well. She had plenty of time to prepare our taxes.Business response

I cannot respond to any complaint or even acknowledge the complainant is my client (per requirements in my industry). If this complainant is my client, I will respond directly to them. Thank you.
