They set appointments to pickup items - give you instructions as to packing and getting items ready lots of work - you do that work they out and out stand you up!!This has happened more than once. Finally I called and talked to a person named ***** who said he was the asst. ******** had no showed and or cancelled at the last minute 3 times when I called him. He evidently helped as we did get the pickup appt kept - however they totally back-slided after back into their abuses with the last appointment set for October 4,2023 - suddenly my husband gets a text message not saying who sent it - stating they are not going to keep their appt. for Wed. the 4. Plans and packing have been made already of course ... and we live in Cottonwood husband drives up to Prescott to the home there to meet them. He called them immediately and it sounded like ***** answered but as soon as my husband said his name he was hung up on!He called back several times and from that point on they put on a new tape recording of a woman saying leave a message - that has never been used before until now.My husband said the last time they were there at our home in Prescott all there claimed to be managers??!! GAMES and ABUSE is there current specialty. At the same time he was told that many were picking out items to take to their homes which Management should take note of.These men who are front-line running DAV currently are Rude - Unprofessional - and total Goof-Offs They are doing a great job of Ruining the Reputation of DAV!! A Sad State of Affairs and they are abusing those who are trying to donate!
