Southland was paid to drill a water well in our new built ******** a depth of 320 ft,$50 per foot and $3,000 for a seal and cap.We paid in full upfront $19,000.The well was supposedly completed in February 2024.We hired a third party to install water pump and tank.When this third party showed up we were informed that the depth of the well was less than 200 ft.We contacted Southland to what they responded that in fact the could only drill to a certain depth because soil was collapsing.They offered to try again at a later time using steel piping wich is stronger.This was to be done at a later time because steel pipes were back order.A second option they gave us was ********* what we responded,"no,we will wait,because we want this to be done properly".Months later we spoke to **** on the phone,we asked for the aforementioned refund since there was no sign of them actually trying to resolve our problem.She offered a $5,000 refund. I told her that was not the right amount,she offered $500 more,I refused,I told her i wanted her to charge for the work that they did and refund the rest.The response was I will call you back.We have now tried to contact Southland to no response.They do not answer their phone or return messages.Business response
