I had a bumper replaced here around September and it failed in February and now they are saying it can’t be fixed. While under warranty. They kept saying that I ripped the bumper off and this and that. Even though I provided proof via picture that it failed. I have asked for either a replacement or repair and they refuse. Worst place ever. Wasted $1200 don’t come here they will waste your time and money.Business response

they are trying to deny there craftsman ship and quality. I have had many people tell me over the years this place has gone down the hill and I can definitely see why now. They don’t respect there customers and are very disrespectful. Trying to blame the customer and say that it’s my fault it’s broken. The bumper clearly failed from a defect stand point. They just want to save money over keeping customers coming back. This place has lost all my business and I will be telling people to not come here from now on. I do not accept anything they say. Terrible!!! This place is a joke!!!! Still need reimbursement for this!!! I payed $1200 for a bumper that’s going to break under a year that’s ridiculous!!!Business response

Good morning BBB,
We thank you for being a critical part of the resolution process. At this time we as a company have exhausted all applicable options. As we stated before on our response. we as a company made various offers to help with the repairs of the rear bumper.
Our company offered to replace the bumper at a minimum cost to the customer, and or fasten the rear bumper so it would not fall. We offer a LIFETIME WARRANTY on all repairs, the warranty is voided if the repairs have been tampered or obstructed as in this case. The customer was not truthfully forthcoming and by presenting a false statement as we clearly explained to the customer.
The offer stands to glue or replace the bumper as stated before.

Nov. 2021 -Car wash at Mister Carwash on Speedway and county club. -Car wash damaged, broke and lost a knob insidey car that controls the seat heater -Car wash sent me to Spectrum Auto to file a claim - Filed a claim in Mid Nov. 2021 - Called Spectrum a min. Of 1x per month for follow up. - Spectrum would call me back 50% of the time with follow up - No resolution , no item and car remains without knob - The business has not provided adequate follow up regarding part replacement. - The business is condescending when speaking with customer.Business response

Unfortunately the part that the customer is asking for has been temporally discontinue form the Dealership. We recommend contacting Mr. Car Wash for other options.

Please be advise that due to the lack of parts, and materials, as stated before, the customers parts are on national back order and there is no ETA available. The customer has been advise to reach out to the company that is paying for the repairs as we will not be able to service the customer.
The customer can purchase the parts and provide the paying party with the invoice as an option.

The item is in fact available. I called Lexus myself. I called Echo at Spectrum Auto w. This information and price I was quoted to replace the item. I provided Spectrum w. The name and number for Lexus parts dept ( ***** ), to discuss ordering the part.
Once again, Spectrum has not done the lef work to find a part that is being made and has not been ok backorder as previously stated. Waiting to hear from Spectrum.

The Customer support team and management of Spectrum Auto have lied to me on multiple occasions since taking my truck in over 2 months ago for repair. My vehicle suffered hail damage in a storm July of 2021. I sought out what I thought to be a reputable company to work with my insurance for the repair. I was told that in order to save on the time they would have the vehicle they would order all the needed parts prior to taking my vehicle in. I was notified in January 2022 that they had the needed parts and scheduled to have work begin on my vehicle 2/1/22 and promised a completion by end of month. Over 2 months later and my vehicle is still in their possession and incomplete! I’ve called every week since the end of February only to be promised “it is going into paint now.” This vehicle has been “going into paint” for the better part of 6 weeks! They have obviously overbooked themselves and are unable to complete a job as promised. The generous 60 day rental coverage offered by my insurance has long since lapsed and I’m now paying out of pocket for a rental while they continue to take their sweet time completing the job! They have opted not to provide a rental or loan vehicle knowing full well that they have left me without! I advise you to think twice about using this company as they are inept at managing their current workload and have no qualms about lying to your face over and over and over again!Business response

Hello.
In response to the allege allegation made by the customer we truly apologize for the inconvenience that they are experiencing with the repair process. We are also frustrated by the lack of materials and parts that were, and have been on National Back order from the Dealer manufactures.
From the enclose documentation you will find a time table as how often and when we have communicated with The *******s. The repairs were to commence back in 2021, but for many reasons the appointments were changed. We regret the current status of the repairs of the *******s vehicle , and all of our staff would love to complete the repairs. Please see additional reviews posted by The *******s on Yelp, and Google, as to their complaints.
Mr. ****** has stopped in various timer to se the progress of the vehicle is being worked on , as we have an open door policy for our customer s to come in and inspect the work being produce. Once again all of our employees would love to have the repairs completed, and have the vehicle return to the customer, but giving the status of our supply chain our hands are tie.

Back in July and August when we first started working with Spectrum they told us they would order all the parts before taking the truck in. They then called in January and said ALL the parts had arrived and they were ready to schedule the truck. Only then did we drop the truck off. At that time they should have had only labor to do. After weeks of not making any progress on the vehicle they tell us they’re waiting for parts? Parts they said they already had when we dropped the truck off.
They’ve had the truck for 11 weeks as of today and still it is in pieces! They told us for 6 weeks it was going into paint that very week. They’ve literally never once reached out to us. Every bit of communication has been initiated by us.
We saw the truck last week and took pictures. It is now painted and looks horrible! They did not match the original paint, the paint has runs in it, it looks like they painted right over the emblems. This is a newer and very expensive truck that they are being very careless with. The truck is again sitting with nothing being done!
We understand the current delays in obtaining parts. It is exactly the reason the truck was not supposed to be in their possession until they had all the parts available. They have lied to us so many times we can’t count them.
We are now paying for a rental out of pocket while our vehicle sits in pieces unusable! This is absolutely unacceptable business practice!
We did leave a google and yelp review. We feel that future customers should be warned just like we wish someone had warned us before we got involved with such a poorly managed and dishonest company!Business response

Or position in the resolution is very basic. We have done everything that is possible in getting back the *******s vehicle as soon as possible. We encourage all involve parties to make phone call to the Parts department and verify of the long, and with no ETA on the listed parts that are still on National Back order. All of our staff take the slandering by the ******* very personal.
